He's always been more relevant than Shinji. The thing they have in common is the fact that Kubo shits on them.

Like Kyouraku's going to be facing Bach. He's already got Haschwald on his dance card. Bach is Ichigo's.

If Kyo went against Bach, he and Nanao would be dead within seconds. I already believe that Nanao won't make it anyway against Hachi...Kubo's gotta give Kyo a reason somehow to go all out.

i disagree. shinji is the most notable vaizard whereas komamura is on the bottom tier of captains. when they all fought aizen, komamura went down with some of the random vaizards whereas shinji went down with the likes of kyouraku, soifon and toshiro. shinji also has much closer ties to both ichigo and aizen and kisuke too for that matter

Hey, it's not Shinji's fault he underestimated Bambietta. All she had done up to this point was beat Komamura, and that's like a weekly occurrence around Seireitei...

Well, hell....Hanataro could probably beat Koma's ass by now...

Anyway, hopefully Kubo will at least let him get a victory against Bambi but I'm guessing that'll be at some cost, whether it's his life or he'll be near death/trolldead like everyone else is so far that we've seen.

You just gave me a thought.

I wonder if Kubo had Shinji go down the way he did to enrage Ichigo even more? Though if Kubo was going to use someone super close to Ichigo as bait, I'd have Bach hit either Rukia or have that VR that looks like Aizen show up suddenly and take out Mayuri and Kisuke.

I actually like this surprise twist with Komamura. Hopefully human powers are at least 1 million times better than his hack dog powers. Otherwise, he's screwed.

it's bleach logic, like how turning into a skeleton made barragan more powerful. or hallibel dawning a bone bikini made her more powerful. anytime someone's look changes they get a power boost. it's basically an homage to super saiyans

He was trying to use a human zanpakuto, and his wolf side was getting in the way, so he can now use it properly? (Not sure if that's troll logic-heavy enough for Kubo, though...)

Basically Komamura became Davy Jones. You need to destroy the heart to kill him. Difference being Jones's heart is buried on some island (where he can't protect it), and Komamura's heart is in front of a huge wolf (where he definitely can't protect it)
