You know those cliche childhood promises in manga/anime? Maybe Keima will promise Urara on reading that book with her later, but then lose the chance to do so.

And boom, when Keima return to present, he suddenly get a childhood friend, with a secret childhood promises. Hilarious ensure that way

I am rather disturbed by that notion. That is taking "liking older women" in the present times a little too far.
