I still want to know where in the timeline this is in. Given how the anime ended, using Junko again in some shape or form is just beating a dead horse (pun intended). It's high time for one that doesn't involve her in some way.

Actually heavy spoilers for the game are out and I'll avoid posting them here but about the world.

It's in the same world but an alternate universe, Makoto and Hajime do exist, however, the events involving them turn to be different.
The Tragedy still happened because it's such a key event for SDR1&2 need for them to happen.

Depends on if he feels like if he is "ending" the series for good. I can see so much potential from this universe yet it can be made as an ending just like that.

I liked it, we expected some classic development like DR1,2 and even 3.

However it was all an elaborated ruse, even the mastermind was part of it.

Of course, it hurts when your favorite character dies but that was the point of this game.

Who else would care for characters that aren't interesting dying?

So I just finished the demo. In classic Danganronpa fashion, it doesn't just break the 4th wall, it stabs its corpse with a kitchen knife and skullfucks it into the next dimension. Some things to consider when the game releases in 4 weeks:

1. Crazy inventor chick has the largest rack. Therefore, she is 90% likely to survive.
2. Each character is no less crazy than their spiritual predecessors.
3. You can now lie in a debate.

Edit - I accidentally spoiled myself on Kaede doing some research. Fuck. Wikipedia and all those other sites really need to put spoiler tags. Now I need to go replay 1 and 2 to get the annoyance out of my system.
