Sorry I couldn't contribute here since a lot has been mentioned already, but I wanted to know why people considered ef a fantasy at all?

I saw this and there was not one point where fantasy was involved. Everything seemed realistic to me... can someone please explain to me??

Probably because of that random girl all the characters seem to talk to but then disappears the next second.

Ok.. I have one more recommendation.. Its a really old show and its kinda well.. You will see.. It is romance and kinda funny but its an old show... Martian Sucessor Nadesico is the name of the show..
