Oh man, it was just like last week when I asked for the Berlin Wall to be torn down, and it's crushed in ep 04! The mangatrolling continues, surely this is proof the production companies are keeping an eye on my posts here, 3 seasons in a row is definitely creepy

Something that made me laugh for 4 eps now, was that Mikono is always calling herself "useless". Girl, you are not useless! All you have to do is star with me in a hentai anim- *gets kicked by Mixy-chan* Gah! Not the heels! *Mixy-chan repeatedly kicks the mangatron* Gyaaah my orchestra's!!

Until she gets... mixed up emotionally and shows off her dere side, I don't think we'll see much love for MIX on the fanartist's side

It's just a matter of screentime, so far she has been just a minor character.

Crea also had yet to appear, but I think fan art of her will flood pixiv soon.

Not even close to likely. Cayenne's vision doesn't exactly show her happy to be with kagura and she's obviously already in love with Amata.

Cayenne's vision doesn't really show her feeling. Seh's not happy but not unhappy either. Yes, she seems to like Amata but liking someone so soon in an anime is not a good sign. Futhermore, the different scenes from the op seem to indicate that we will have a triangle with Mikono who can't choose (until the end) bewteen Amata and Kagura. It's just the exact same thing that in Macross Frontier but this time for the girl (Mikano) and not for the guy (Alto in MF).

Of course, right now, it's just assumptions but I strongly believe that's what will happen later. We can even suppose that Kagura will be able to steal Mikono from them and then Mikono will start to fall in love with Kagura.

But hey, I'm not that fond of Mikono. I like Zessica much more that's why I would love a pairing with her and Amata. But my guess is that she will end up with Cayenne. And I don't know why but I have the feeling that Cayenne will have the same fate that Michael (or something like that) in MF

This serie has just the same vibe that Macross Frontier for me

This news makes me sad...EVOL's ED is god-tier, IMO best ED this season.

Just started watching the series this week and my god, instant favorite of the season. So much of that SRW vibes with lovely animation and character designs (Never did watch the original, only exposure was through the SRW games)

I still think the opening from the original serie "Sousei no Aquarion" was much better than the current "Kimi no Shinwa ~ Aquarion Dai Ni Shou" though.

I really started watching this series with no expectations, I really didn't like the previous one. But I like this new one quite a bit. Characters are mooore likable.

I agree, I really like the new opening for EVOL, but it just can't compare to the opening of the first Aquarion, it's really good. Lost My Music has posted already, so I'm posting the English version, for those of you who wants to sing along but can't speak Japanese. It starts out in Japanese at first, but it starts with English about half a minute through and the rest of the song.

That one is the acapella version though, but personally I don't mind it, I love acapella. Another interesting note, the singer for both the English and Japanese version is AKINO. As someone born in America (Utah to be exact) there's no need to worry about accents or Engrish whatsoever, although some of the lyrics aren't exactly the same as the literal translations (I suspect that's more to fit the beat and rhyme rather than mistranslation though).

I much rather like Evol's OP better than the first series, after looking up that one's on Youtube. It just generally sounds better to me.
