Hmmm, looks like they followed the novel... The tennis match looks pretty cheap though. All I can see are the serves and not the actual match (well, it's not important anyways.)

All in all, an improvement of last week's episode. Imouto next ep!

This new spectacle looks pretty touching writting-wise. The highlight of the episode has an androgynous boy named Totsuka of the sport club who had feelings for the cynical hero, but the bullies are returning, so Yukino and Yui have to fight them against a tennis match. In the end, Hachiman still wins over the bullies, but isn't too happy inside. There's also a fanservice extra scene in the end (I did see Yui's striped panties), and I'm glad it wasn't censored at all even though it was done by Brains' Base. Zaimokuza continues to look cool, and Yui is still cute as always. I'm hoping the next episode to explore Hachiman's little sister and also a theme that's very taboo in Japanese society, sexual harassment.

As stated, in this episode didn't have that many horribly drawn scenes, however the animation was still low budget.

It looks like they didn't went in-depth on Hayato's background, which I felt was important to further show how Yukino has no friends

One can still feel some bad directing choices (like, the nekketsu burning messages should have been full screen, they totally lack strength being so small).

In other news, Yukino, Yui, Hachiman, Saika, and Sensei will have their own solo character song(s), while Yoshiteru and the other 2 male characters (lol) will have their own unit character song. Estimated total songs will be 8 with the release date is on July 10th.

Yui were more or less responsible for it, though she weren't so conspicuous that time so Hikki don't recognise her

Anyway Yukino is such tsundere ... to Yui and Hikki the badass flawlessly creep popular kids!

I were woried about this ep. But it was win. And yes, I can live with imperfect (if not right down bad) animation. Character design make up for it to me.

Mikako Komatsu is really good at playing traps. I heard Aoi Yuuki in the preview, I had no idea she was in that show. From the tone of her voice alone, I can tell she's going to play a cute character.

imo like the anime art work Yukino is drawn with more fierceness in her eyes vs then manga :/ I must be the only one who thinks this. :\ that fierceness is just something sexy about it for me.

imo in the manga she's seems to gentle looking. yet it's a freaking wolf in sheep clothing.


hiki is well slant eye creep creepy his face reminds of ryuuji on Toradora.

Prince of Tennis episode was amusing, not really sure where the series is going though.
Though it have more of a structure, instead of just a series of one-shot episodes.

The guy on the popular side seemed like a nice enough guy.
