um yea i noticed that too the pacing screams original material. I dont mind as long as its done properly. So far i dont think iv had a real compliant about vampire knight. But we are only moving on to episode 5 so we will see if this remains solid. I love the manga and have had very high expectations for the anime. Im surprised theyd need to use originally material at this point since supposidly we're only getting 13 epis right now. To me they have more then enough material to get that far with out adding anything. Course I didnt mind what they added to epi 3, gave Aidou some depth and another smack As long as the stick to the main premise I dont care what they add.

I liked zero from the very start and love him even more this episode! I hope Zero gets yuuki at the end (betting on the low chance ><)

Thats true as well any reader of the manga would tell you there is more than material to make a sold 13 episodes without original content. But just like you I enjoyed the original material on Idol-sama since hes just a great character to begin with given him more depth was just a win. I wonder if some possible extra content could be a history lesson on vampires and how the current way of things came to be.

Jut watched episode 4, and all I'm gonna say is, I really looking forward to whats next. The love in this the better, especially those moments with Kaname and Aidou <3.
