Any suggestions on animes similar to either of the two below?

Love Hina
Aria The Animation/Natural/Origination

Also could you post links to the anime your suggesting, although not necessary it would be much appreciated.

Love Hina has often be called a poor man's Maison Ikkoku by some. I'm not sure I agree, but Maison Ikkoku, in my opinion Rumiko Takahashi best work, certainly served as inspiration for Akamatsu (Love Hina writer). You may want to check that.

As for something similar to Aria, there are several out there. There is the prototypical Yokohama Shopping Log, the more fantasy oriented Someday Dreamers (Mahou Tsukai ni taisetsuna koto), there is Sketchbook ~full colors~ a series by the same studio, very similar in feeling but set in the present.

If the plot and romance was what you liked best about Love Hina, you should look into Maison Ikkoku.

If you liked the slapstick nature of the comedy, then you'd probably like Ranma 1/2 and Zero No Tsukaima.

You might also try out Full Metal Panic.

Kare Kano - It's funnier than Love Hina IMO, and stylistically superior...But it is drawn in an older (circa 2000) style if that's too much for you to take...

Aria? hmmm I think there's no anime that's similar and nice as that one

but for suggestions...

try Kaleido Star, this is a hidden gem in the anime world, you should try this one...

oh and you should also try Seto No Hanayome... if you're looking for some romcom anime, this is a must...

You could take a look at Haibane Renmei for something along the lines of Aria, slice of life in a contemporary fantasy setting.
