And this is the point where I drop off the thread to try and avoid spoilers (even though I've already read the manga). Did catch the first couple of minutes on CR (need to find the OP and ED as well) and it feels like the last episode was just last week.

GAH poor Niche! After Roda's comment, all that pacing, and then faced with Lag's attitude, it's no wonder the poor girl thinks herself unworthy of Lag's underpants! She's so adorable.

That was a great kickoff, smoothly picking up where S1 left off.

This was a pretty good start for episode 1. Hoping to see a lot more!

Well I could stick around and make sure I don't watch any filler episodes by accident, it just feels weird reading everyone's comments about an episode I can't watch yet even though I technically know what's going to happen.

ah lost memory plot, the starting part is so serious and sad, i guess i miss the crybabies

dont know how they do it, but they manage to continue the tradition of using high quality songs as OP and ED

a bit worry about Nichi, sitting at such a high place without her pantsu...

Spoiler for Ep 1:

Ahh, they're back! Lagu, Nichi, Steak, Sylvetto, and everyone! Yeah, it follows directly from where the last season dropped off, and takes the logical next step from there. Feels really bad for Lag but at least thanks to Aria his spirit is rejuvenated, whereas Niche still got her pride hurt. Next episode seems to resolve it though. The background and everything is still as good as the last season as well, and the plot seems to get serious now. Welcome back, Monsieur and Mademoiselle Criesalot with Dingo and pet, glad to have you back!

Ah we're finally back. Of course I took such a long break mid first season that it really only felt like a couple months since the last episode .

It was a pretty tough time for Lag to find Gauche but under those circumstances. Getting shot was actually a blessing since it gives some insights into what happened. Not sure if the amnesia was intentionally done or a happy coincidence that allowed to bring Gauche into the fold. I'm still shocked at what happened to Roda. I mean damn what the heck did they do?

Poor Nichi. She had her pride hit badly and with Lag so depressed she would act like that. Now they have to go find Nichi and reassure her that she isn't a failure of a dingo. In reality I think it was best that things happened like that. If Nichi had jumped in it would have gotten complicated with Lag not wanting either to get hurt.

Anyways it is good progress even though it's a tough situation. I think the title of greatest crybaby does belong to Lag since Sylvette was holding up alright until Lag started leaking like a faucet .

Same old Letter Bee I love so much. Same old crybaby boy - but if you can't love Lag enough to feel for him, this isn't the show for you. Unlike most anime this one really wears its emotions on its sleeve in a most un-Japanese way. Still gorgeous backgrounds, still wonderful music. Looking forward to seeing what this whole Gauche/Noir thing turns out to be.

It's the return of the biggest crybaby in anime and they sure weren't skimpy on the waterworks. A horrible foreshadowing of what is to come...

The second episode actually made me laugh, which is quite surprising since it has never happened before while watching Letter Bee. Zazie's line in that sinister voice after tasting Sylvette's soup was hilarious.

Well I'm with Zazie after he has discovered the source of that terrible soup . Probably was for the best to just eat the bread and run for the hills.

As expected just reaffirming the bond between Niche and Lag in this episode. Of course the key part of it was that letter bullet given to Lag. That will be the key in helping to save Gouche. Of course it's all about getting the chance to shoot.

Just saw the first episode and it really does work very well as a transition from the first season to the second. And I was surprised by some of the imagery in the OP, nothing too spoilery but just some things that only happened pretty recently in the manga (like, just a few chapters back recently).

Pacing in this show is as solid as ever. Great episode, with a decent amount of material covered. Also found the bond between Niche and the Baker wife pretty heartwarming in the manga, so i'm glad that was adapted nicely.

Next weeks episode is one of my favorite stories in the manga, so i can't wait to see it adapted.

Well Finally got myself caught up with the second season, that was good idea to pretty much do a full recap of Lag meeting, Noir/Gauche, thank goodness I just finished the first series this week. Niche was really hilarious in the 2nd episode, though seriously this show has probably the second weirdest names I've ever seen in an anime, the first being those in Armed Librarians, that seem like someone threw magnetic letters against a fridge door.

Spoiler for Ep 2:

As expected, this episode revolved around getting Niche back as Lag's Dingo...there's no action, but everything is so sweet, especially the heartwarming end. Now that they're both recovered from the shock, can't wait to see their Letter Bee adventures again.

On another note, Aria looks really nice with that apron. Being a bit similar to Riza Hawkeye (with the blond hair and all blue clothing) doesn't hurt any too. Speaking of FMA, seeing Sandra remind me of Izumi too, both of them are happily married to a big, burly man. What's more, it seems that they both lost a child too...Damn, Jacob is a very lucky guy, Sandra is smoking hot. I wonder if we'll ever see them again?

ok Nichi wears the pantsu again, she is back, she saves Lag again, happy ending except poor Steaky

maybe next eps can see the main plot about Gauche/Noir

a bit missing the flash back story that used to appear in every eps

That may have been the most humor-driven ep of Letter Bee that I've seen. And not a tear from Lag!
