Thanks, and interesting.

Found something interesting for today. For the votes received in first 12 hours of today's match, I did limited partial vote check, and even though I didn't use all the Vote Checking tools available, I caught 2064 multivotes, which is the highest count for first 12 hours in Emerald Period. Anyone has any idea why we have this increase in cheating attempts today?

Hmm that's very strange. I wonder which characters are the multi votes are going to as well and which country it is coming from. My guess for the increased cheating attempts are since it is summer they have more time to multi vote if the multi voting people are student aged.

I do need to say that difference in number of multivotes received between top 8 and the next 8 is small. Different vote checking tools, that weren't used when I uncovered these 2064 multivotes, uncovered even more illegitimate votes for these characters.

Do you think it might be that people are starting to realize that there is only this and Topaz period left before PostSeason begins, so they're trying to use every means necessary to get their characters in the most beneficial spot to have the upper hand come PostSeason?

That probably is one of the big reason for this, though I suspect it isn't the only reason, since some of the older traits remain. I do wish they will learn that these tricks are likely to fail. It was rather easy to catch this particular early multivoting rush.

No really big upsets this time so the results are fairly normal. Last Order made an attempt at a big upset but fell quite a bit short of pulling it off. Still a pretty good attempt, though. Other strong performances included Saber, Suguha and Yozora, but they were all expected to win those matches. Sena's performance was a bit weak but she wasn't really close to losing.

Having Kanade take a loss in a meaningless exhibition match was probably a bad idea for Kuroneko and Misaka. Kanade looks to be in top from lately while Kuroneko is in a slow decline. Kuroneko used to look like Kanade's equal but seems to have faded to roughly halfway between Kanade and Eucliwood. I wonder if Kuroneko has missed her chance to put a regular season loss on Kanade's record.

Tachibana Kanade? Seriously? I guess they weren't happy with just 70% and really wanted that tripling or something.

Are there a large number double voting? Or a few with a ton of attempts at multi-voting.

First case could be caused by an influx of new voters.

I think it is more likely that their real goal was to boost someone else, and decided to do 75%Kanade/25%her opponent randomization in Kanade's arena in hope of disguising their multivotes. If several multivoter does the same, each having different favorite, what may happen is that the real targets get some boost, but Kanade gets more boost because most of multivoters kind of gives up trying to affect her match and do the 75/25 in that arena.

There are good number of both kind as well as several intermediate one, where someone tries to stuff a dozen or two multivotes. We really do have great diversity in types of multivoters. I just don't know why so many of them thought that they could get away with doing some early hour rushes. I really wonder what the multivoter count at 12th hour will be in the next match.

hoho, At least 482 multivotes in first 76 minutes of voting. The top 8 characters in most multivotes uncovered are, in alphabetical order,

Akiyama Mio
Eucliwood Hellscythe
Gokō Ruri (Kuroneko)
Hasegawa Kobato
Kashiwazaki Sena
Nakamura Yuri
Shiina Mashiro
Tachibana Kanade

I wonder why people gives Tenshi and Kuroneko multivotes they already do like 60%+ without them.

I still think what I said in http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...postcount=1194 may partially answer this question. A multivoter may not want to have too many abstains in his ballot, so in matches he isn't interested in, he just vote for someone likely to win in hope of avoiding suspicion. Since we have several different multivoters pushing different characters, the character in a match unlikely to lose may get those multivotes since many multivoters will just vote for that character in order to make his ballot look more "natural" and help hide his real intentions.

Now thinking about it stuffing multi-votes in power horse characters like Kanade might make it less suspicious than ballot stuff someone like Holo, C.C. , Konata, or Tsukihi as well. I agree with the natural vote explanation as well. About yesterday's cumulative rankings I noticed Konata and Ui were highlighted red what does that mean?

Similar to last year, the challengers highlighted in red were officially eliminated from competing in the postseason. However, after looking at the current cumulative standing, there are other challengers besides Konata and Ui who are eliminated from the postseason.
