So, what shall happen now, I wonder?
The Vers Knights have learned to work together well now that Slaine is leading them. They were able to push back not 1, not 2, but 3 squads of the UFE, including the Deucalion and the unbeatable Inaho in one fell swoop. Count Raffia and Sebring's kataphrackts are rather awesome, but I must say that Count Orga's takes the cake! A kataphrackt that can actually make copies of itself? Awesome. The UFE forces are damaged but no one important was lost, however Inaho has begun to use his eye ways too often and now it is beginning to do the damage that was alluded to by the doctor a few episodes ago. As to what point it becomes irreversible I don't know. However, even more problems are about to begin as well, as the UFE, again underestimating the enemy, just says basically "Everyone, throw whatever you got at the martians! I'm sure we'll get them with superior numbers! " Well, all the men that will die notwithstanding, that is still a very stupid idea. You know they've got a plan now and a leader, you can't just use the same tactics you always used. Sigh, well anyway, on the Vers side, it seems that Slaine has reserved himself to his fate, and will continue to take on the darkness as long as he can. He has a goal in mind and nothing is going to divert him from it. He is systematically distancing himself from all those who care about him, the girl who was his inspiration and best friend, the girl he treats as a little sister, the girl who loves him as a woman loves a man, and the man who has had his back for more than a year now. He seems like he's given up. He doesn't care what happens to him, as long as he's accomplished what he's set out to do. Count Mazuurek has finally accomplished what he set out to do and gave Asseylum a message from Inaho in the form of Slaine's pendent. This allows her memories to return of everything that happened on Earth (though, one of those memories showed when Slaine shot Trillram, which she wasn't even around for, so does that thing transmit Slaine's memories too, or were the staff just being lazy? ) Lemrina who has been emotionally shattered from her frustration over her feelings for Slaine and her guilt for Asseylum's "death", finally goes to visit her room, and finds her gone. So, we now have 4 episodes left, and we've got issues coming in on all directions. I'm guessing that for the the title, the "Price of Honor" had to do with Slaine and what he's given up to do what he thinks will make Asseylum happy, and "Light of Day" was perhaps the pendent that Asseylum got back to help her to remember. So, what shall happen next? I'm guessing that Asseylum will try to talk to Slaine about what happened and what's going on. Lemrina is going to the castle and either confront Slaine or just go looking for her sister. Those two have to meet at some point. I actually like Lemrina and Slaine together more and more, and Inaho and Inko looks like it might become a thing too. However, that depends on if our MCs survive this series. Inaho is on the verge of destroying his brain from using the eye too much, and Slaine would probably be okay if he dies by the end of this. For some reason, I think that that pendant is going to be the key to all this. It's been featured so many times in OPs and EDs and it was something that Slaine's father always wore. They promised us that we would know what "Aldnoah.Zero" means by the end of this, so I'm thinking that will be the crux of this entire coming climax. I love all the characters in this series, and I hope all of them get good endings. We'll have to wait and see, but we're entering the final stretch here.

great episode. in terms of set up episodes, this one was better than most in recent memory. slaine is fully aware of his actions and their consequences. he's no longer just a person making poor decisions without thinking about their impact. good development.
inaho lost again, but its pretty obvious that they (the writers) knocked him down so he can get back up higher than ever in the next few eps. i'm really excited to see how this show ends. it has exceeded my expectations quite a bit.

Also, it was great to see Martians actually work together for once and to cover each other's backs. It shows that if they had actually done that from the beginning they would have won by now. That's another problem with the feudal system, each feudal lord is basically a king and country unto himself, even though they are all loyal to a central ruler. Unless you unite them, even if you were to try to negotiate, it would be like negotiating with 37 separate countries, rather than a single entity.

We learned that Slaine hates the earth and earthlings, a world inhabited by ordinary barbarians, the similarities with Bizon are increasingly clear, Slaine never called the lower class, he never visited, or stopped to hear their views. He deeply hate the Terrans, all your motivations, revolve around his obsession for the princess.
And the principal every episode, the arguments and allegations of Slaine fans comes collapsing, and being denied, through the anime facts. And now what excuse that User, who maintained that Slaine not hate the Terrans, after watching this episode will. And the main, every episode, the arguments and allegations of Slaine fans is falling apart, and being denied, through the anime facts. Another important factor. Harklight is commanding the troops, is the strategies, tactics and battle plans, he who is leading the invasion. Harklight is the one who shows concern about the events on the battlefield, and the progress of the war. While Slaine sits with his drama with princessas.
