Hmmm... quite disheartening... unless it won't be a remake of the game per se, and is a further continuation or expansion on the pre-Refrain plot like what Sushi-Y was saying.

Harukaze dorini, tomarigiwo.　（はるかぜどりに、とまりぎを。）

they had pretty intresting story line, and was very intresting.

Doesn anyone remember the plot for Itsuka, Todoku, Ano Sora ni? I can only vaguely recall something similar to "protagonist returning to his childhood town" and "the signs of the zodiac"?

That is why the starry sky is so far.

This is a story of watching a faint dream in tender, peaceful days.

No matter where, no matter where-It was a morning with a clear, blue sky.

Saku (main character), who left the Tatsumi house, has come to this town.

Koumeishi <--Setting

A name that sounded like it could tear off the sky.

The atmosphere of this city that gently caress the cheek.

"Go live the way you want." When his strict father told him that, Saku understood that he had failed as a person of the Tatsumi's.

It was something he understood.

He had always, always understood that long ago.

But even then, he could not accept it, did not give up, and continued to endeaver in an unsightly way.

Like his father.

Like his brother.

He wanted to be recognized as a person that had what one should have as one born in the Tatsumi family.

An old mansion, said to be where his ancestors lived, was in front of his eyes.

He passed through the gate to the mansion he was going to live while thinking that.

To grant the wishes of the people that want to, once every 100 years (it always has to be ), a committee called the "Astronomy Committe" is established. The astronomy members, whose existence is like that of a shrine maiden who will clear the clouds, are selected from Niitsu Academy, in Koumeishi, and the 12 of them are named after the twelve signs of the zodiac. Each astronomy member will perform many kinds of ways to clear the clouds in the time period of their birth constellation, aiming to succeed in an event called the "Teribina".
But the Teribina had never succeeded even once (go figure ), so it has become something of a festival to the civilians of Koumeishi.
In the twelve members of the astronomy committee, the ones that will appear as heroines will be Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, and Leo.
Of those six, the ones with playable paths are 3. (In the Playstation 2 version, there are 4.)

Ah, I was right about the "zodiac" part...

Though, I did notice that the usual girl count for most eroge are limited to 3-5. I guess writing plotlines for more girls would be quite hard. Even though Akamatsu Ken attempted to make plotlines for 31+ girls in a certain series and he's still going on...


Almost forgot. After a long time, I've tried accessing Nagharkan's review website, and it seems that he'll be returning on Christmas Eve. Best wishes to him.

Recently finished playing Sekien no Inganock (a November release from Liarsoft). I really, really liked it, although I have to say that I struggled more with it than with most other games I've played. Because parts of the story were obscure to begin with, there were areas where it became hard to tell whether I was having language issues or just not getting the plot. I'm definitely interested in going through it again in a year or so, but for now I think I need to take a break with something set in the contemporary real world.

no. itsuka, todoku, ano sora ni is made by Lump of Sugar, where as Harukaze dorini torimagiwo is made by SkyFish.

I just recently finished Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo. It's very good game I'd say. The most interesting plots are Naoko, Saeri ('12 Angry Teachers' cracks me up XD) and Akane; mediocre goes for Umi and Rinna; boring goes for Miyaho; and disturbing goes for Shizu >_>.

i dont know why everyone finds Miyaho's boring XD i liked it alot, although i definatley agree with you on Shizu's
