Exactly, there wasn't enough time to clone them. Unless someone in that room had the ability to create replicas of people, its not possible. My bets on the shadow figure with Ishiyama.

Most of the equipment in that room looks like it was destroyed, and almost all of the scientists were taken out. It's unlikely they were in any shape to continue studying the chip, or trying to find stigmata users. The chip itself doesn't contain a listing of the stigmata users, it has the DNA records of the Second Christ, so it's doubtful that it would have been able to identify Solva as a Stigmata holder. Perhaps we should simply just chalk it up to Saten being Saten and leave it at that, until a better explanation appears if any.

I agree that if the Seto and Solva that Arclight consumed were fake, then they would have had to have been made by a Needless with some sort of Copy power, rather then clones. If exact copy's, it would also explain the Stigmata. It would certainly be an interesting turn in the story if those Stigmata were to fade away, causing Arclight to loose whatever boost in power they gave him, and the real Seto and Solva to appear by Saten, hidden as Avvesione pointed out by Uten.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions either. Remember the last time we were faced with a similar situation, it was the Shoujo Butai plus Eve against Cruz, Disk, and Gido (kinda funny to think how powerful Gido is now but back then, we didn't know). Blade, Teruyama, Seto and Solva were essentially dead, Eve was against them, and all that was left were three non-fighters awaiting their death. Then Saten showed up and decided to change everything when he kicked Kurumi's body over to Blade.

I wouldn't be surprised if Saten does something similar here before anyone else dies. I still think Saten has some hidden abilities that allow him to copy Fragments or something since he's done a number of suspicious things throughout the manga. In Chapter 8, after collecting a sample of Uten's Blood, he disappears along with the building he's sitting on (Stigmata level Bremuda Asport?). After Blade finishes beating up Setsuna, Saten comes in to fight Blade and he remarks about how fast Saten is. Considering that Setsuna's Fragment is Speed, Blade shouldn't be surprised at how fast Saten is unless he has some Speed enhancement that's special to him. And then there are those times where his hand is drawn like the warm angel's hand... (something else I wanna talk about). Either way, it seems like Saten is up to something and I wouldn't be surprised if he does something soon to make sure Cruz stays alive or something.

In regards to the angel/hand thingy I mentioned in the previous paragraph... now that we know that two angels exist in the Blackspot and that Mio attributed the hand that saved Cruz to be an angel's hand, suppose that anyone who received body parts or tissue from the Second Christ (the one who had an angel fuse with their body) is able to make that warm hand thingy that we saw a few times throughout Needless. It's just an idea, but it might explain the connection to that hand drawing, the angel that Mio talks about, and the fact that the Second Christ was part angel and part human. Then again, it might be something more than just that, like ANn or something.

I could see someone having a Mirror or Copy Fragment in which they're able to produce a "clone" of someone. Maybe that's Gido's Fragment and his fighting style is to Copy the person he's fighting and use the new copy to fight with him? Maybe those were just copies of Seto and Solva that Gido made to feed to Arclgiht? Perhaps.

If that's the case and there is some bizarre power like that or something, then maybe Gido was able to make a clone of the Second Christ to die by Triple Six and the real one is still alive and walking around... like it's been Saten all along or something (could explain about him knowing about Dark Matter, his looks, his bandages, his Stigmata and wanting to keep Cruz alive since that's where another Angel is hiding?)

I wouldn't put much faith in regards to Seth and Solva if I were you. While it's certainly possible, this manga is anything but predictable, so for now I suggest you leave them as dead.

At the very beggining of the arc we were tipped off twice by Disk, and look now. Her warning wasn't anything misguided.

So is the final stigmata the one that Mengroze had on the palm of his hand when he was treating Cruz (the arrow almost making a full circle)? I don't think I've seen that one on Arclight's body yet.

Mengroze said that the stigmata appeared when Mengroze was touching the body of the stigmata holder. I guess you could say that stigmata holder's body somehow rejected the hand of Mengroze. This might be an enhanced version of Shield of Aegis after all, since I see Shield of Aegis as a fragment that 'rejects/repels'. So might Cruz be the final stigmata holder after all?

I wonder if Mengroze will make another appearance soon.

The mark on Gido's forehead might be a stigmata too, though.

And also, I don't think Cruz is the last holder. But it doesn't matter anyway, for two years forward Arclight is still searching for that last Stigmata.

I think it’s either Cruz or Eve who has the last Stigmata, and I suspect well find out for sure shortly. The fact that there’s still a Needless hunt going on two years in the future really isn’t proof that it won’t manifest during the current fight. If someone in the resistance doesn’t have it, then it would certainly be easier to find it amount the survivors of the Triple 6 plan then to blindly look for it among the masses. Also normal humans are still alive in the future, so a strong argument could be made that Arclight is going to loose this fight.

That hardly means anything. That humanity still lives 2 years in the future is independent with the current conflict. Because first. The annihilation of all humanity except a few individuals if it ever happens will be due to the spreading contamination, not Arclight himself.

And second. The hole has been realeasing toxin since over 10 years in the past. It will take longer till one day only six hundred human beings remain on the face of the Earth.

Not only Arclight is pretty much invencible now, the Resistance except a few who may survive will be wiped out.

As for why Arclight hasn't shown any signs two years later, I can think of many reasons. His body, still unstable. He went back to hibernation. He went and travelled through the gate.

I'm 90% percent positive their plan wasn't for a long period of time. If it was, Cruz and the others wouldn't have reacted so shocked and hastily when it was revealed. Riru acts as the switch that will terminate the clones around the world and release the Eden's Seed. This sounds like a process that will happen in a couple of hours not years.

They wouldn't need Eve's stigmata if she has it because it would be the one Arclight has and Blade had before he gave Eve Doppleganger. I don't think Cruz has it. I'm still skeptical if his power is a fragment. As a double needless does not exist as mentioned in Shelter 3, a fragment that an Adam series clone can't learn isn't possible either.

Mio is the angel that saved Cruz. Crazy, I know, but a thought, or at least, she knows him/ her personally. It is definitely strange that she seems to be the only one who saw it, how she was separated from Setsuna and Kushinashi, being blown next to Cruz and taking care of him while he was unconcious, and other reasons I stated in a previous post.

We only know two so far: Primaria in Simeon city HQ and Secondaria in Simeon Black Spot HQ. Yeah, I believe the character database said she serves as a maid in every Simeon building. Why are there multiples of her? Someone's fetish maybe? The Testamenko-chans were admissioned by Arclight (secretly). The girls were probably spearheaded by someone with a maid fetish.

In the anime, Secondaria was voiced by Aya Endo, the voice of Cruz as a little fun fact.

Dunno, but Cain being a needless despite he was born and grew in the City kinda suggests the products were blown away, or at least a good amount.

It's possible Arclight's plan did work, just not in the way he intended it to. For example, maybe the resistance or adaptation rates to Eden's Seed are much greater or worse than he planned, or maybe there is a Needless fragment out there that cures it or helps mitigate the effect. Maybe in the future there are more Needless and fewer humans because of it, but it doesn't wipe out all humans.

Plus, Teruyama makes a cameo right at the beginning of the chapter. How did he survive? How does he not know about another Adam series, who resides in a church?

It's really hard to tell what will happen based on Needless Zero, and there's also no telling what he'll change considering how old those chapters are now.

I will say that Arclight is making the fatal cartoon bad guy mistake, powering up like crazy. He's unstable because he was an inferior clone, and even absorbing the remains didn't help that. I doubt adding an angel, or all of these fragments, will do the trick. He's still missing something, and I think this will all backfire on him.

And just to say, even if Arclight by some miracle gets finally defeated (call it miracle, call it "Saten screwing him for good"), the chapter hinted at what may very possible be the next threat, much bigger than the self-proclaimed god.

I'm talking about the angels. Reading between lines:

Arclight: I have seen the true heavenly host.
Arclight: They are the gods that have passed through the sealed hole.
Arclight: At this rate, humanity will be utterly destroyed.

Arclight: Who ever said...
Arclight: the gate had been closed?

Arclight: When control of the dimensional weapon was lost, it produced unimaginable energy.
Arclight: It is impossible to close the gate at our current level of science!!

Arclight: So we buried the gate deep underground...
Arclight: and covered it with many layers of protective walls to prevent any "uninvited guests".

Arclight: Twice in the last 50 years, major interference has come from the other side.
Arclight: The protective walls have been destroyed one after another and toxins are even continually leaking from deep underground!!

Arclight's words leave little doubt. Many angels are on the other side of the gate trying to invade this world.

In conclusion. Even if the unbeatable ultimate being dies there, that what did start everything, what gave birth to the Second Christ and thus to the clones of Blade and Arclight, will one day come from the other side of the gate, bringing utter chaos and destruction.

In regards to the key to bring down Arclight, I believe both the fact his body is unstable and the lack of the last Stigmata as well as Yamada's fragment will play a big part in that.

Now then, if Saten's actions in this chapter are some kind of plotting, then Seth and Solva will burst through Arclight's body and damage him greatly.

I honestly don't see how Cruz isn't the final stigmata holder, he was likely taken to Mangroza due to some Eden Seed poisoning, and had a surgery to remove his stigmata which burnt the stigmata onto his hand. You may say its too obvious, but all the roads point towards it.

The academy does have ties to Simeon, but depending on the orders, that might not save it. Regardless of what happens, I could see the remaining resistance members falling back to the church only to find it's now occupied by the Black Madam.

If they can't close the gate with their current technology, I doubt they can destroy it. The JSDF was sent to purge the Black Spot due to the Prime Minister (Arclight using doppleganger) passing those two new bills. He wants to sweep the Black Spot for some purpose.

It could have been both, Cruz said that he was sick when he went to Mengroza. He could have made multiple trips, if Cruz was indeed sick during that time to see Mengroza and burn the stigmata on his hand, he would only be 6-8 years old at the most, meaning that I doubt they would entrust putting half of the chip into his forehead at that age, especially a growing boy. The chip was put into had to be much later and Cruz has no idea about it.

If they are basing the Angels on anything like Arclight, nothing short of the TSAR bomb will be remotely effective. I think it might a act of defense, but I also think its futile.

Maybe this is why Saten is protecting Yamada/Cruz? Because one day the angels will pass through the gate and he knows the needlesses won't be enough, that he needs to create a being that far surpasses the Second Christ.
