Anime adaptation of My Love Story/Ore Monogatari!! has been confirmed. It is based on this manga written by Kazune Kawahara. ANN posted a brief synopsis/description for the story:

Takeo Gōda is a giant guy with a giant heart. Too bad the girls don't want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate. But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn!

Megumi Han as Rinko is a pefect fit. Shimazaki is a good choice for Makoto as well. Takuya Eguchi never voiced such type of characters before, so I'll let surprise me. Staff looks good as well.
