Ironically the CVL hime would even be rather farmable compared to the rest of the map (medium though, didn't try hard this time)

Kamoi is an oiler/seaplane tender, not like stats are going to matter much. But in case you wonder, Kamoi Kai Bo has an armour rating of 33 (compared to 19 for Hayasui Kai). Hayasui Kai's AA rating is higher with 48 vs 34 though.

Yeah, Stats was a bad to word it. I admit that - I'm more waiting for her equip to be revealed.

My primary farming fleet. You will breeze through the nodes while getting the rare taiha in node C now and then. You need 291 FP to get AS+ on all nodes. It cost about 200 bauxite per run so you can opt for 2CAV, 3CV, SSV to save on bauxite. You will need at least 1 bucket per run since your SS(V) will frequently get wrecked by Ritou Hime.
If you have the new toku daihatsu + 11th tank regiment, you can equip it on a daihatsu carrier DD/CL with 2 guns to deal good damage to Ritou Hime at night. They're much cheaper to sortie than a CAV.
The sortie is pretty long. By the time my fleet returns, I can sortie them again. However, if they get taihad at node C, I switch over to my secondary farming fleet.

2. 3 DD, CL, 2 CAV

Despite being a light fleet, it's actually much more expensive to sortie them since the LBAS cost about 200 fuel and 100 ammo (no idea how their performance would be at the boss without LBAS support). Plus, your DDs has a chance of getting taihad at any node. On the bright side, it's much cheaper on the bauxite usage.

This fleet pretty much curbstomped all the nodes along the way. The only potential threat is the OASW CVL in Node C. It has the potential to taiha your SS(V) regardless of its health.

I went with about 340 FP to get AS+ at all nodes except node E. You can use Jets here as the only node with any heavy AA (ie Tsu class) is node C. However, the jets are dive bombers and can't target Ritou Hime. You may want to keep the jets to a single CVB so that more CVs can attack her. Your jet-carrying CVB should be the 2nd ship so that she could kill any remaining escorts instead of the others. Well, it doesn't really matter in the chipping phase since the escorts are all dead earlier on.
The loadout of the SSV is flexible to suit your needs. You can equip seaplane fighters to free up space for more bombers in your CVs. You can also equip the kami tank and night recon for some extra help at the boss node.

After failing to kill Ritou Hime twice using the chipping formation (really Tone, a DA of 44 & 50 dmg??? That's one hell of a bad RNG roll) I switched to the 2 CAV 3CVB SSV formation. One reason the single CAV formation works in chipping phase is that most of her escorts are dead at the start so your fleet can foucs fire and chip her health.
However, in last dance, she has a much tankier fleet to absorb the hits. Plus, you will also see Ritou Hime dodging a lot of the attacks in LD. If she has a lot of health at yasen, your CAV will need a legendary roll to finish her off.

With all the new kanmusu drops successfully rescued, time to take a break before facing the witch of the north.

Started E5 now and let me give you a warning: Don't try to complete the Run when you are going for E (Necessary for debuff) - the chances of getting off routed are far too high there and the southern route is imho in general less painful.
e2: maybe I should mention: This sentence is only valid as long as you have yet to finish the first Boss-Phase. Once the second unlocks the routing through here is not only the right one but actually the preferable one to the second boss.

Also in case you haven't heard don't use torpedo Bombers on this map. Both bosses gain additional damage from dive bombers - moreover Russian Ships (Verniy + Gangut (all incarnations) do 1.5x damage against the bosses while 5th Fleet ships do 1.2x extra dmg.

Still unsure whether Is hould gun for Kamoi - e3 on medium is imho rather farmable, but do I really want to waste the buckets :/? Moreover I feel that getting Taiho has decreased my drop luck rofl.

That being said early level gangut can't even hit a lv 40 destroyer or CL/AR- maybe she got a low base accuracy or something like that?

Now that was a final sortie for E3. Total damage suffered: 10 points to Italia. Missed the perfect S-ranking on the boss node by the 7 HP with which the DD Hime survived.

I cleared E2 and E3 on Hard. I didn't need to use the support exped.

MVP for E2 was Ooshio and Kitakami for E3. I got the 2 DE while clearing and Okinami while on my way to clear E2. And no Kamoi in sight. My buckets count was 2070ish at the start of the event, and I am now at 1940ish.

Kumano kai ni has been alluded too, as well as -several- CL, so we will have other CL aside of Yura (most likely tenryuu or Nagara class, unless they stick with Konishi, which would be Yuubari or an Agano class).
Meanwhile, the article also confirms Gangut's Seiyuu as Seto Asami as I suspected.

I chuckled at the blogger's comment that Nagato Kai Ni looks like an ikemen. Not that I disagree though, and it's probably what fits her best. The design does remind me of the heroine in Kizuki Aruchu's latest work though

I read from another source that, including the CLs, there will be more 2nd remodels this year, and more kaibokan as well as non-Japanese ships that, like Gangut, have had a strange career.

Hitomi was equipped with dual boilers and Ka-Mi tank. Kasumi who joined the team for Last Dance was equiped with the newest Daihatsu that was said to be VERY effective against Isolated Hime. And it certainly greatly contributed with Hitomi's Ka Mi to slowly chip away Hime's health.

The Cranes were equiped with Jets, which helped a lot.

Why did you equip the Jets on the cranes instead of the LBA? The distance Base to Boss is just 1.

Because unlike LBA I can drag the cranes with me in every nodes, and then they can pre-empt jetbomb everytime they can do it. Make it easier to clean up some trash mobs.
