Compared to Ibusuki her screen time is pretty low, her character is still the same as the beginning all that changed was her accepting her feelings for Taro. Also that incredible Killer body of her is enough to make her popular. I mean she is so thic, her miniskirt popped and revealed a THIGH CLEAVAGE! I had no idea that that was a thing and could be so sexy!

Because you need drama and for drama you need somebody who has a chance of winning and to have a chance of winning against somebody who has been decided the winner from the very beginning you need to be attractive as fuck. Though Ibusuki would be beautiful too if she would wear more feminine stuff and let her hair grow (though Taro is still attracted to her even when she wears male stuff), too bad she can't do the same with her boobs. XD

Her purpose isn't to win. Her purpose is to make you think "hey, this girl is wonderful, maybe she could win" or even "hey, this girl is wonderful, I hope she win", making the story more interesting.

it's one thing for that reason, but they could at least make the main heroine deserved the victory, many times i read, i found later heroines so good to the point that's there is practically no reason to choose the main heroine. It's one thing for the main heroine's position to be threatened, as that is what make the story, but for the new addition to outclass the main one completely is another entire thing altogether

It happened to me with some manga I read and I found it very annoying, especially when you have the MC surrounded by beautiful and king girls and the loli tsundere wins. Luckily while I still prefer Ebino to Ibusuki, I don't dislike her so I won't be disappointed by her inevitable victory.
