Although I'm a fan of Hinagiku, I see that unlikely.

Thinking about it, I don't think if it is who deserves to be with Hayate the most, but who can afford to keep him as he is a walking debt magnet

The pictures of the new OP emphasised the combat butler bit. The tournament at the moment seems to be yet another random thing so typical of this anime. I just hope they can balance the love-comedy and combat aspects well...or are we going to see another Bleach?

Hina finally got screentime. It's about time after her rather long absence!

Relax. New season, (meaning new OP and ED karaoke, new logo...), several new preparations, quarterly RL issues for some staff members and work on Shakugan no Shana movie --> takes some time.

We (as in Static-Subs and Eclipse) have decided to do Hayate till the end.

That was pretty entertaining, I thought. The new OP is good, as I've stated before. The lead-in to the tournament was mostly setup, but the punchlines all came in the tournament. I got a kick out of "Unauthorized K" (even Tama's got a mask!) and one of the "very nice men" suddenly entering as a temporary butler. The best joke had to be the "Something-or-Other" family's butler, "Extra One". Extra even won a match - better than I thought.

While "shark" being bleeped out for no discernible reason was odd, it got a laugh for that reason. I'd say it's an 8/10 episode. One last thing - awesome moment when Hina walked in to her character song. That's cool.

Thanks for the subs, Static Subs and Eclipse! By the way, is Shion a girl? I always thought Shion was a "he." Not that I mind him as a her, since it's pretty ambiguous anyway.

first 3rd was quality laughs, then it got a bit weird with that shion guy/gal. not in a bad way. teh rest should be quality

Absolute class! I really enjoyed it and I think it was so in the spirit of HnG. I loved Hina's WWF entry and all the other little touches in it.

One thing that concerns me is if Hayate looses does Nagi loose the estate?

I dunno, but I was rotflmao in the end. I dunno why really, but maybe at the irony at Hayate/Nagi's cluelesssness as to who obviously the two masked characters are? Maybe I watched too much mahou shoujo that them satiring that situation makes it damn funny, especially at how Hayate and Nagi's actresses acted it out. XD

But Hina kicked ass. Would've loved to hear Zettai Unmei Mokushiroku though at her entrance...

And I agree, as much as I love Hina, Nagi still has the upperhand over anyone.

Hina makes Hayate look like a little girl with her skills. Remember how Hayate got beaten around by that 'Gin'-like butler.

I enjoyed this episode, I thought it was too short even. Not a fan of the new OP and ED however.

That's easily one of the best lines i've ever heard.

The new OP's very impressive. Loved the song, with it being the type of KOTOKO song i like. Judging from the new OP sequence, many interesting things shall happen in the future.

Episode was highly enjoyable, finally more to do with the battle side of the story. I see great things to come just from Shion showing her abilities against Hayate (thank you for the very adorable Hayate and Hina blush). Shion's lovely --- my kind of trap (you know what i mean).

Oh yeah..

Great episode, I really liked the new OP and ED's. For me the Gundam references were particularly noteworthy with the Superintendent trying to destroy earth, ala. Gundam Char's Counterattack.

This was a great episode, Hina got some screentime and I had plenty of laughs. It feels like a whole new show now, with the new opening, ending and the sudden change of events. Not that I'm complaining, I love how it all plays out. Klaus was, as always, hilarious.
