I think the font should be shrinked. The spray effect alongside the text didn't blend really well with the BG. Try fiddling with the opacity and other blending modes

Much better ^^ and did you put the text like that (some parts of them are cut by the left edge) on purpose? if yes, then let it be

I figured I might as well do these ones, but I'm having trouble with the positioning. Any suggestions? Or should I just shrink the width?



Notes:
1. Shrinking the main text (i.e. Character name & "K-ON!" to anything lower than 24pt will make it look bad. (Character's name is currently at 30)
2. Picture must stay on the right side, patch-up using gradients are a no-no.

Hmm.. you mean that what to do with the plain areas, right? shrinking the width might work, but I think you could fill them with something... that I don't know yet *Searching*

EDIT:
I think maybe there are 2 things you could do aside from shrinking the width:
- Add some colorful "marbles" -->> The visual theme of the 1st character song covers seems to be quite colorful. If you see the covers again, the girls are wearing colorful marble-like accessories. The colors themselves seems to be their own colors: red, blue, yellow, pink, green. The fonts used in the covers (the "K-ON! character image songs") are colored that way too.

- Add some white areas on the top and bottom like this -->> I think this one is better choice for the uniformity of all the characters (not only Nodoka and Ui). If you go for this, then you need to change the font color for the character songs titles. (ex: Mio's "Heart Goes Boom" font color into blue, Yui's songs are red, etc.)

If you are noticing something is off in this one, it's because removing text from a picture is extremely difficult. (I must have cursed many times trying.)

Hmm, I don't see anything off here but yeah, removing texts are difficult indeed. I'd rather recreate them instead, lol

There's something about that K-ON! logo... I personally thought that it should be removed because the size is kinda big and it passes through the white area. But in the other hand, the K-ON! logo is needed to stay true to the theme. The size could be shrinked for sure but that would make it unreadable
^ Those are just my personal opinion, though You decide what's best.

and it seems that Ui is the only one aligned to the left, huh? ^^; I think Ritsu and Azusa could also be aligned to the left side too considering that their pictures are quite centered on the original covers.
