I think her mark is like from her clan in the Village that she came from , remember from the requirements that she wants for her lover right? not raised in the City but in the outskirts of the Capital

I was wondering why she always keep that scarf with her. Though this do make sense .....teigu that made ice = scarf.Thanks for the info.
Make you wonder if something happen to her who will gain that scarf. If Aniki word are something to go with no one will be scary or have a bad impression from a Scarf.

I really think that mark is just Esdeses' trademark insignia. She did say that her group is independent from the Prime Minister, even if she is working for him.

If the mark was from the Teigu, then as NeutralZero mentioned, that collar she put on Tatsumi would have powers as well.

Though more we find out about her more I think she really deserve some sort of punishment (more likely death like justice girl.).

The scarf being her Teigu makes much more sense than her sword. I pointed before she had used her powers without it being on her person.

BTW, anyone think the war Esdese and Najenda were fighting was the same one as Braht and River's (when they were in the same divison)?

Yeah, but I do recall Braht saying that he fought against the "southern races/tribes" when he was in the army. I don't think it would be too unlikely since Braht could have split from the military long before Esdese and Najenda were called in.

Considering the difficulty the Empire had in that war, it could have lasted for a couple of years. Enough time for River to join the Esdese army.

Well that's not really NTR since Esdese hasn't had any experience or any current relationship compared to what is going on in Ch 16.

Yeah not enough for me to say NTR, Tatsumi has attracted a lot of females, but haven't committed to one of them yet. So the element of having your lover being taken away isn't there. If it was NTR, I would be pretty angry and my girlfriend also happens to read this Manga and she didn't get a reaction like it was NTR so because of that I am sure it wasn't NTR.

^^I didn't mean to say that ch 16 has NTR since it's not. I want to say that NTR happens in all kind of media, even comic books that children read. Stuff like Wolverine boning Jean Gray after Cyclops got killed... It's Japanese that push this into a new level.
