There are two assumptions for the officer that was dropped. If he had a useful function, he was just dropped into the lower room as punishment and will be back at some later date. If Dessler doesn't particularly care (someone can easily take his place) he was dropped from the high tower and died.
SBFBS will likely not change much in relation to Yamato 2199 as I don't think either Voyager Entertainment or Musashi Enterprises has any right to it at present. My changes for the Battle at Pluto were because I didn't think a convention battle using the older Battle of Pluto (from the first rule book) would be exciting. Plus all the ships involved are about a centimeter long, so they wouldn't attract any attention. With the information from Yamato 2199, and the scale up of several ships (verses there old numbers in various sources) meant using something else instead of just the miniatures. But also meant changing the WDF sheets to reflect the new information to make the Yamato 2199 version of that battle entertaining and visually appealing (to attract players). I will have to change the Gamilons again as the newer interviews stated the Gamilas don't have Wave Motion Shields....just some kind of coating on their armor that makes them mostly immune to Earth weapons. (Present thought is to take a page from the old Agents of Gaming Babylon 5 Wars armor rules and have the Gamilons deflect a part of every shot fired on them. But lower the amount deflected verses the solid six shields I have them with now). The general design styling always had at least some World War II inspired designs in it. Aside from Yamato herself I mean. At least when it came to the Humans and Gamilas-Galmans. The Cometine and Nebulas were not so much World War II inspired, nor were the Dengail. The Bolar seem to be Soviet inspired but of the Cold War vintage.

I think it's one of those things best left unanswered. Best case scenario, that was just to remove him from the room and he'll be escorted from wherever he landed to some place to sobber up. From there on, theories get progressively darker. XD

Only versions I can find lack the subs for half the episodes.
The first time it happened I could follow along because it was action based, but the second time it was heavy on conversation and so I was lost.

Don't know what to say...someone must have messed up since the BD have English subs on them normally.
The PV for Chapter 4 should be out soon. It is a month until the chapter comes out in theaters.

some toughts and speculations
space battleship yamato 2199 to me is not just a remake it exapnds and goes in directions where the original did not go, possibly because it was cut down to half its original intended size.
I appreciate that space battleship yamato 2199 did not use (up to now) the divine intervention like in the original serie where Starsha helped the Yamato escape the galactic whirpool sending energy to the depleted engines of the Yamato. and until now it has not happened that the Yamato barely escaped enemy mortal attacks warping at the very last second or escaping dessler guns delayed countdowns at the very last second ... until now both gamilon and Yamato actions and decisions have been logical and consistent, the only small thing I notice is just, in my opinion the fast approach of Yamato to the pluto base after the reflex gun was destroyed, an approach too fast for the gamilon fleet to launch. My assumption would be that on the pluto base all personnell was manning combat stations which includes crews and ships ready to take off ... Regarding the WMG my speculation is that the earth engineers were able to eploit a peaceful technology donated by Starsha to make the long voyage possible within the time limit; into a super powerful weapon that surprises Yamato crew at the first attempt to use it. Regarding sbfbs on the gamilon ship side it is necessary to remove the bow energy cannons that are something different now and possibly restrict the mine laying capacity only to the mayor vessels of the fleet. while on the EDF side I believe, in order to reproduce the coating/reflecting armor effect of the pluto battle to reuce to 0 the weapons effect of the EDF ships at medium and long range and leave them effective at o and short range. To explain the limited to non existent use of torpedo and missiles on both sides one possible explanation is that torpedo and missiles reach only short range distances (except Dessler torpedo of course) |

Someone on Pixiv's impression of what the Kongo-class Battleships looked like before the Gamilas War.

Hopefully answer some of the speculations that have been going on since the episodes were announced...and since the concert showed some Cometine Warships.
But it will only be a two minute trailer...but that was enough previous times.

The Gamilas get all the best voices it seems.
From an evaluation of the wreckage, the Gamillas fleet engaged several Cometine destroyers, what I guess is some kind of cruiser, and at least one Twin-Deck Carrier (the big Cometine carrier). I don't see any remains of any Cometine battleships. This means I might have to test out my reimagined Gamilas fleet against Comet Empire ships (unmodified, save to add a light cruiser type, which I'm pretty sure we made up ten years ago for whatever reason). I noticed Yuria in one of the old style nurses' uniforms (probably in a dream with interacting either with "Yamato's goddess" or with whatever is interacting with the ship in Episode 14 (the description of which remains me a whole lot of the "Eternal Story of Jura". Though that was written by Leiji Matsumoto in 1976. Thinking about it...they did say we'd see the planet Beeland again, but it would not be the same story as last time. Maybe a fusion of one setting and this side story by Matsumoto?

Since February is a long aways off, I'm going to have to pick though this and the Story pages on Yamato2199.net (as well as whatever new material shows up on Ourstarblazers.com)
Pictures for Episode 11 (so a possible extended fight with the Comet Empire for Dommel's fleet? Plus whatever they do with their Gamilas pilot "captive".) http://yamato2199.net/story/story_11.html Episode 12: (What is wrong with Yuki?/plus Dommel returns to Gamilon for assignment to hunt Yamato) http://yamato2199.net/story/story_12.html Episode 13: (halfway mark of the series/submarine battle/Captain's surgery) http://yamato2199.net/story/story_13.html And the mysteriously still mostly blank Episode 14: http://yamato2199.net/story/story_14.html (I'll find a new image from this trailer for my signature later.) Lots of possible shots in this one verses Chapter 3's trailer.
