I'm a bit sore how they dumped the original Ben10maru design for something retro. Yes, the end product is cool, but I kinda like the rocket+everythingcrammedin look of the original which reminded me of the Defiant.

Eiii. No updates? All I can make out from the twitter is that KanaHana and Tomatsu Haruka's videos congratulating Director Satou were played. Matsuoka-kun's also was played, eventhough he was seating beside the Director

That's Kirito-kun!
And yeah they were drinking alcohol. Mikako-shi, in her today Lady Go radio, said that she already knew the singer for the movie theme song, but she's not allowed to reveal it yet. That birthday party was a birthday party, there's no need to shadow the celebration with info regarding the movie. We're still in July, so let's hope the movie details will be available soon. Images Sandaime, The Mecha Designer, The Director, Marika, Grunhilde, and who? :P Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Eh? Asuna was Tomato (Gruelle) :P.
While we're at Seiyuu topic, Hanazawa-san played Yukari while Mikako-shi was that snobbish Aizawa in The Garden of Words. ps. Director Shinkai said he's writing a novel version of that movie. An image from 2ch No further info regarding the figure. And the wait for movie information continues. ....Director Satou didn't mean he's going to hold the info when he mentioned "Information Warfare", did he?

Congratulations to MoPi for winning the 44th Seiun Awards in Media Category. Sasamoto-sensei represented the team to receive the honor. List of winners [link]
Image from Washio Naohiro twitter [link] Sensei with other winners, and he looks very out of place there. The official twitter for MoPi said that t-shirt was the one designed by Akiman

Congrats to Mouretsu Pirates for its well-deserved sci-fi award. MAL has an news thread here: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=634427.
Wow, only about six months until the movie does its premiere...getting more pumped for that too.

After analyzing the competition...
...really? The fact some entries (the only thing sci-fi in Negima was skyfishes and implied space travel using magic) don't seem at all sci-fi tells me that the organizers were grasping at straws some times. AO and Rinne were definitely taking up slots there (got scientific elements, but didn't bash viewers with enough facts IMO.) MoP did the facts, service and technicalities in just the right amount, so no wonder it won.

Not sure whether this is of any interest, but there are a few photos on the official site's twitter feed of a large papier-mâché model of the Bentenmaru, which has been constructed and suspended for the Tanabata festival (Sources:Starchild, Satelight Facebook Fanpage, Satelight Facebook Fanpage Image, captainMARIKA twitter entry). Looks quite nice.
