I think he might have a scar under the mask and that's why he never takes it off! Or maybe he has a cursed mouth that'd suck everything in if uncovered! otherwise, I don't see why he wouldn't take his mask off?!
But I do agree that he looks way cooler with the mask on.

Hmm, I'm not sure he wears it to be "cool" or mysterious". He doesn't seem too interested in that when Gai mentions it all the time. I think it's just like any other random outfit in the series. There are several things that people wear in the series that make no sense. Kakashi just happens to be a very popular character so the question about his mask got asked. You don't see people asking why Kankuro wears cat ears on his outfit...

Ya know...you may be on to something. I never thought about it before. Not to mention he would have to deal with all those envious guys. Here I thought regular jealous guys were bad enough. I can't imagine dealing with jealous ninjas. Geez, and even Kakashi can only handle so many love struck girls and resentful guys. That most definately explains the whole situation. Poor Kakashi indeed...

What episode was that? I stopped watching when the fillers started ...but now that Shippuden has started I'm gonna start following again.

That episode was actally before the filler ever started. If I got it right it should be episode 101. I just watched it recently as I'm going through the series again now that the filler is over. It's a pretty dang funny episode albeit a little silly.
