Hmm, was hoping to start up the thread again... seems like it was lost too...

yeh, i miss the forum and the discussion here. But it was coincident that suzuka wasnt going to be released this week. anybody know why the the one week delay for chapter 90?

hopefully odin and hi no ken jebus make it back here.

Dont think you can ask it here in the forum. But you should be able to search and get either raw or chinese translated one. English version has been licenced so you'll have to buy.

I think Jebus had said last weeks was a double issue, don't know if that's true or not.

I assumed everyone was familiar with the concept of a double issue. A double issue is double in the sense that is two issue numbers but the content remains the same. Last week was Issue number 2-3 which means there won't be one this week http://www.shonenmagazine.com/ it's on the main page.

Thanks for the tip. It'll stop me continually checking for chapter 90, lol. It appears from the magazine's site that a special issue comes out this Wednesday, not including Suzuka. I guess we have already passed Christmas Day in the manga, so it's all right for the next chapter to come out on the 27th.

I really love the new character Yui (?). I wonder if she'll keep appearing or if she has already fulfilled her role in the story.

There's another comic in that magazine that I've seen one ep of and kind of liked: Open Sesame, about a boy from the south going to an athletic school in Tokyo that's filled with strong girls. Another permutation of the sports manga.

by the way suzuka anime finale is next week. Think it'll stop at chpt 72. Shouldnt deviate from manga.

If the manga is to keep going, Suzuka and Yamato will have to have lots of little (or big) upsets and separations. I was very glad that Yamato decided to go home before Suzuka could see him with Yui again, though, lol. I look forward also to seeing how Honoka's modelling career goes. It's true, as someone said in the anime thread, that you can't really imagine her being happy in that world. Yamato ends up at the camp with a cake he bought, Asahina is looking out the window then her room companion tells her to close the window and begins whining about spending Christmas at the training camp. Asahina spots Yamato and leaves. Yamato is about to give up when she shows up and asks what is he doing here. Yamato says he was wondering how she was doing and he bought her some food a cake from Fantasy Land. After asking why he was there, she starts off nice and tells her it'll be a problem if someone sees them so they move somewhere else. She turns SSJ bitch mode and Yamato spills the beans and tells her that Yasunobu asked him to go along with him. She then confirms the whole story by saying you were asked by Yasunobu and you went to have fun with the girl I saw clinging onto you that night. Then he starts apologizing saying he wanted to see her and that's why he came etc...Asahina starts yelling at him about a whole list of things and tears up. Yamato then starts to apologize more and then she forgives him for the time being. She then slaps him and then kisses him and with that they stop fighting. Chapter ends and so does my interest if this goes back to that crap of yamato screws up, suzuka gets pissed and he apologizes rinse and repeat that was the last couple of chapters Last edited by hi no ken Jebus; 2005-12-24 at 15:26.
