Meanwhile, I look at the example of Germany and how they managed to put up a few adjustments in their new constitution and succeed with a system where they can give their armed forces a little more "freedom" (for lack of better word) and make loads of money by the sale of military hardware. Until further notice, I haven't seen Germany being greedy in a desire to become a bigger NATO player by any means although they could because they are very credible on the political/economical front these days. If those constitutional changes allow Japan to make money by selling loads of quality hardware to trustworthy clients, I say it's a very good move and no one can deny that. Lawmakers (again) propose replacing $1 bills with coins:
"Hey America, want to save $13.8 billion over the next 30 years? Get rid of your dollars. The greenbacks, that is. Let's use dollar coins instead. That's the message from a consumer advocacy group and former presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain, who has re-introduced legislation to phase out dollar bills." "McCain has been joined in his legislative push for the coins by fellow Republican senators Tom Coburn, of Oklahoma and Mike Enzi of Wyoming, as well as Democrats Mark Udall of Colorado and Tom Harkin of Iowa. But they will have a hard sell. Even though most other countries, such as Canada, Britain and Japan, have replaced smaller currency denominations with coins, Americans love their greenbacks and have never warmed to dollar coins." I mean why is the dime the smallest coin while the half-dollar is the biggest? Coins should be re-size according to their value.

The Dollar use to be a large coin. Then it was a coin the size of the quarter, which has remained to confuse people. Even the Presidental Dollars didn't take off really. Nor have the First Lady ten dollar gold coins.

In Climbing Income Ladder, Location Matters
A study finds the odds of rising to another income level are notably low in certain cities, like Atlanta and Charlotte, and much higher in New York and Boston. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/22/bu...nted=all&_r=2&
