The seinen manga Ontama! by Maeda Noboru (author) & Yoshii Dan (drawing) will be getting an anime adaptation.

The anime will be delivered through Nico Nico Anime Channel starting from the Summer of 2009.

The manga was serialized in the seinen manga magazine Comic Yoshimoto, but after the magazine got suspended the manga continued its serialization in the seinen manga magazine Comic Gum.
Currently there are 2 volumes released of this manga.

For 5 episodes of 10 minutes, it was surprisingly good. I liked the concept of the story, but... I guess it is because there was no time, a lot of the developments were really sudden, and a lot of time is wasted on silly gags. I don't oppose to comedy, but if the story would turn out rushed because of that, I wish they just focused on the story...

Nothing on Fansub Wiki, and this started in August...should I take that to mean that it is unlikely anyone will pick this up?

The art looks absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of Pushi Puri Yuushi (Petite Princess Yuushi) from earlier this decade. I'm a sucker for the little sidekick animals too whatever you call them.

Guess it is because of the chaotic speed at which the story goes by, but it was so-so entertaining... Kind of for niconico douga? With the words scrolling across the screen in the anime, it looks like it was created with nicodouga in mind... Though instead of going all the way back, wouldn't it be better to figure out the reason they split up and fix that...? Rather, going all the way back could make her disappear.
