Lady Georgie! (1983-1984) 45 episodes

We have a tracker for this here: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1630.html but no thread yet so am making one

Am wondering if anyone has seen this yet and has feedback? I plan to as soon as eps 1-14 are ready to watch. It looks interesting!

So far the 14/17/18/23 subbing is quite sporadic, but it could be the seeds for something more. Classic anime series like this are a valuable piece of history and I hope we get to enjoy them and preserve them before they fade away.

I watched this one when I was little, but Hajar, one of my two older sisters loved the show very much, especially the second part. Oh and it's created by the same chick (Yumiko Igarashi) who did Candy Candy!. You could move this one to the Older Series thread.

Hm yeah true, perhaps a mod will do it. Anywho, I heard about Candy Candy but hasn't seen that yet, might be a good way to pass time while waiting.

What is 'second part'? Is it divided into seasons, have a time fast-forward?

I watched this back in the eghties, don't remember all of it but it was very good. Definitely recommended if you're into old shoujo.

You can separate the story in two parts, the story begins light hearted and becomes somewhat serious and dramatic as normally used to happen with old shoujo stories, so, theres why people call the later part of the series the second part.
