Hm, just paid two customs charges today. I really do hope one of them is Miku. I know one is the Miku live concert DVD as I checked. My bank account is going to hate me this month and I bet I'll get charged for everything too. :X

I live in Australia and I can't say I've ever had any custom charges and I've brought a bloody lot of things over the past two years.
I know if an item is declared at over a thousand dollars you'll have to pay tax but I can't say I've put that much down in one hit. EDIT: Just paid for some figures off AmiAmi. A rather boring day now ends in excitement!

I've just completed the payment for the Alter Mio Figurine!
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10115787 Oh yeah. PayPal are evil , they took about 5-6 dollars with the exchange rates and taxes

Welcome to the UK. Yeah, we have to pay for most things we import, as well as some silly Parcelforce handling fee which totals it all up to over a tenner at least.
Ah well, VN02 came today and it was well worth the extra moolah I had to spend on charges. Such a lovely figure and the box is massive! I never realised it was this big. o_o |

Don't get me wrong, I really like the UK (Well, I'm kind of biased as I was born here and am English), but trying to import things is generally completely luck based whether they pick something up or not.
Like my first Hirasawa Yui Nendo that arrived last week, didn't get charged, but my Azusa did a few weeks before. I've still got the second Yui Nendo coming and I really hope that doesn't get charged as buying it was a mistake in the first place but I couldn't cancel it. :P |

Don't get me wrong, the scupture is good but people just hate the semi-realistical face. I think they would have done better going for the Project Diva version of VN02. |
