If there was an ending that involved her having a child, I doubt she would have any need to make a contract anymore. Granted, that was the case with Mao, but things just went wrong there I guess.

If she had stayed with him, I don't think he would have become much different. Perhaps a bit less crazy, but not much better than he was then.

Yea C.C becoming a mother seems a little too Optimistic for the ending of this, seeing as so far the only character who could be the father is Lelouch, and it seems a little too optimistic that he'll live, let alone get married at the end of the series.

Yeah, but there is always the incredibly slim chance it could happen. If such a thing did happen, I think you could pretty much call that a happy ending in many repects.

you know...if C.C.'s wish is to have a kid, that'd explain why she left Mao. Even if he loves her completely, cutting himself off from the world and reality means it would be impossible for him to care for a kid. >_>

Well I don't think that is her wish honestly. I always figured it was something that either had to do somehow with the Emperor's plans or with possibly wanting to die after being alive so long. Though since she seems to have been alone for so long, I don't think she would reject the offer of having a family. There is still the problem of her not aging though.

I have been saying the same things on the fanfiction.net forums, seems likely she want's to die but dosen't want her legacy to die with her.
However, since I said that I realised that she is amnesiac, it is only mentioned once in episode 25 - "those are all that remains of the memories of a witch"-CC. I now am unsure as to what her contract would entail, but at the moment it could go any way it wants. Methinks V.V could be the real Emperor - Charles just being the avatar to get around a revolt based upon the immortal V.V.
And yes, glad people liked the idea of C.C as a mother, plotwise it makes sense to introduce something like that as I have no doubt that in the end of the last ep we will be left with a "life goes on" kind of a feeling, and whats the most perfect way of showing that?

EDIT - And ultimatly, Lelouche dosen't need to be alive when the baby is around, just C.C.

Well, one of the themes is supposed to be love and I'd think a family would be an excellent example of such a thing, but who knows what could happen. As for V.V., that would be a twist, but I'm not so sure.

I have sort of figured her fate would be death since her words when she killed Mao.

And you are correct that Lelouch doesn't need to be around, but I'd rather he was in the event of such a thing happening.
