well i dont know where else to put this but I am urging the administration of this site to remove the

and

emotes.

why? to make sure this site does not have a lawsuit coming its way. Now im sure many of your admins are scratching your heads going "wow is this kid high on weed" No im not. those 2 emotes mentioned above where created by mebers of an online art community called deviantart.com found at www.deviantart.com. and because of the recent uprise in various other websites deviantart's moderators have been "jihady"

there emotocon listing can be found here http://comments.deviantart.com/emoticons the emotes that you are using are lonely and idea.

P.S. I am not acussing the administration of ripping the emotocons themselves, for all i know you may actually have permission or perhaps the emotes where given to you by someone else. I am merely giving the administrators a heads up so this lovely site wont get brought crashing down.

P.P.S. I also have no intention of reporting this site to devart, but others who come here may.

Wouldn't it be conisdered free use? Animesuki is not claming they are their's, they aren't making a profit, and they're used to create something new. I personally don't see on what basis they could sue us.

OK, let's just use the images directly from deviantart.com and leech their bandwidth. If that's what they want.

shrug. I dunno maybye because their emotes are made by artists on site and devart is using the emotes with permission via the artist?

Right, so we should leech their bandwidth if necessary then. That won't cause any copyright problems, unless if they've copyrighted "<img src='deviantart.com/blah'>" as some sort of creative HTML tag.

It is perfectly legal to use an IMG tag linking to someone else's work, and anyone who says otherwise deserves to get slapped around with a bit with a large trout.
