First half was great, laughed out loud quite a bit. Yasuna made quite a few sexual noises.....

Second half was decent. I agree, I really enjoy the voice work in this anime. I feel the 3 main characters are voiced perfectly, and are pleasant to listen to. Hopefully this'll pull a Nichijou, start of mediocre and turn into something amazing. Kind of doubt it though, should still be good.

Not as much Yuri potential in this episode, but I still really enjoyed it.

I thought the first episode was absolutely terrible, but decided to keep watching because some of my favorite series recently (Mitsudomoe and Nichijou) started off poorly and got much better later on. The second episode was a huge improvement, and I'm now cautiously optimistic about the show. I am still not sold on the voices though, other than Sonya.

I suppose this is what Sonya would look like if the drawing style of this anime was less cartoony:

Spoiler for Sonya:

Darn, those pictures destroy the picture I put up XD

I suppose that is what Sonya would look like if the anime had a higher budget and was more than a comedy

German, Scandinavian, or from any balto-slavic nation, should we generalize; even english or french, based on how they are viewed by japanese

I'm voting Italian, mainly because Sonya looks like a Triela expy.

While I was watching the second episode, it suddenly occurs to me that the beginning of opening solo sounds pretty similar to original Tetris theme music.

The name maybe, but she was never from either of those places. She was from North Africa originaly, and now she is part of an Italian special ops group.

yeah, I was wondering about last week when I saw the op. I kept thinking that I've heard a similar tone somewhere but can't remember, then it hit me when I watch the episode 2.

So Triela is Libyan, but since she went to Italy had silicon implant and dyed her hair... I don't really see how that can be connected Sonya, excluding blonde twin-tails

Isn't it because both Tetris and Sonya coming from Russia? Russian tune, maybe?

I tried to look for the origin of the name. But found no luck (btw, wikipedia is down for 24r hours to support their stance against SOPA). One thing through, i thought Sonya's named is pronounced as Son-ya. But it seems to be pronounced as Son-nya instead
