Yay, thank you Thany, it's working now. The main issue was that I was trying to follow your dialogs verbatim. However, you have Windows XP, right? I have Windows 2000, so the dialogs are a little different.

It turns out that I can leave the "Your locale" box as English, but then have to click the "Set default..." button and select Japanese there.

I can see it all now. It looks a lot more pretty now.

Now....... anyone up for helping me get xmms to do the same.....

Tripod gives me an error. I tried removing the img.jpg from the URL and I still got an error. Tell me when you fix it

New desktop for August; at work so you only get one screen this time.

I made the desktop myself. I can make them for any size screen from 640 x 480 all the way up to 2560 x 1600 (Apple 30" Cinema HD Display). I already have them ready-made for 1280 x 854 (15" PowerBook size) and 1024 x 768. Others available as requested.

lol, yah, I guess I got them mixed up because fluxbox is based off of blackbox.. so looks similar. Hooray for Gentoo too.

Is it a native blackbox port? THat's pretty sweet.

On that note, here's my Gentoo desktop. (My Windows desktop isn't nearly as nifty as yours! )
