Soul Eater is all about the style. Honestly, remove the style from it, and it loses almost all its appeal.

Frankly speaking, Soul Eater is something that's probably more suitable for to be made by a western animation company/Disney/whatever, for it seems to be very exaggerating in their motions, which is something western animation tend to do well from the traditional Disney films like feel like Bollywood every time they go for a musical animation orgy, or the traditional basic Tom and Jerry. Japanese animation don't do that much.

50-52 episodes. Like FMA, it's slated to run for a full year.

I really can't wait for this series, Death the Kidd is one of my fav characters right up there with Sousuke from Full Metal Panic and Sanji from One Piece!

Article with screenshots from the first ep

I like it, very colorful

The official website has also gotten a substantial update, and there's information for the ending theme now.

That looks great, they captured the style from the manga really nicely, I hope it looks good in motion though being from Bones I'm sure it does.

Hope that's true because ANN lists 13 episodes.

I heard T.M Revolution is doing the opening for this series. If it's anywhere near as good as Howling I'm going to have a new song on my playlist.

That's number of episode titles (or time slots) available at the moment, not total number of episodes for the entire run of the show. People confuse episode titles and number of episodes from ANN. Don't worry there is certainly more than 13.

Heh... the manga is awesome. I hope they won't butcher Kid since he's my favourite. I wonder how they'll do a 50 episode run since the manga is still around vol. 10? Don't tell me they're gonna pull another FMA on us, the anime sucked badly compared from the manga. I like BONES because of their consistent animation, but I'm not too fond for what they've done with FMA.
