http://www.korranation.com/ are streaming the first two episodes this weekend only.
Just watched it and I'm liking what I see so far. Can't wait for the series to start.

I have a question about the Mai and Zuko pairing: they get together in the cartoons, but break up in some comic series. Are the comics canon or not? If they are, what's this information about Zuko's daughter on wikipedia, did he marry somebody else or did they get back together?
Sorry if this question has been asked before, I didn't find anything through search. |

Has anybody read Avatar The Last Airbender - Search? Part 1 is out. Lets just say I enjoyed, and the end was just wtf. Anyway I don't want to spoil things. You'll see what I meant when you read it.

If anyone still hasn't seen ATLA (why!?) this is your chance:

The thing about Avatar is not that it tries to imitate anime (which inevitably fails in flames when tried by Western animation). Rather, it's true to itself while clearly being influenced by anime (among many strong Asian cultural influences). Edit - I only just realized that I was the one who started this thread 14 years ago.

Not a huge fan. Last season was pretty good but on the whole inferior to the original in every way.
The reason AtLA is on Netflix in the first place, of course, is that they're developing a live action version (may they avoid everything Shyamalan did) and want to create some buzz for it.

Who are "they" exactly??? Depending on the answer, I'll be or . Don't want to endure another horrible live-action Avatar adaptation.
