It seems pretty obvious (to me at least) that Itachi did kill the clan....

When Sasuke has his flashback in chapter 145, he arrives in his house, and Itachi throws a shuriken at him (cutting his shoulder and closing the door, it seems), then Mangekyou Sharingan's Sasuke, showing him his parents being killed. Why the hell would he do that if he hadnt killed them all?

Now, questions still remain. Why did Itachi enter the Akatsuki? What objectives does he have? That, we have yet to see. We have yet to see the truth behind the destruction of the Uchiha clan (and soon, I hope ).

Also, there's about 3-4 threads about Itachi. You should have used the search button. Also, Itachi should appear around episode 85 or so for the first time.

LOL u took the words out of my mouth...! i'm trying not to read these spoilers so I've been just breezing through these posts...

(whatever- we can't go beyond guesses. since this is a plot issue, its not like we can arrive at the answer just by discussing anyways ::shrug:: )

But Itachi is causing quite a commotion for a character who hasn't even showed up in the anime yet...gee... i even saw fan sites about him and all. -cant wait to see him show up in the story
