finally got some time to watch episode 9

- Riri was lucky the seniors didn't have their weapons, no way she should been able to get away from them without a fight.

-of course Yuyu and squad are going to come to their leader's aid. Yuri is a important member of the squad as well.

-I haven't being the biggest fan of Kaede but i give her mad respect in this moment. she came off like spoiled girl in some way but man the dress-down she give her dad was great and show she really is a nice girl.


- We are being given a viewpoint on how leaders view Lilly and it look like how shirzo say, this leaders would turn Lilly into weapons. i couldn't help help but compare lillies to Cursed Children from Black Bullet. both fight using their abilities that came from the things they fighting but are feared as well. Lilies are treated way better then cursed children.

-It was nice we see how many other lilly viewpoint on what a lilly is and believing Yuri is one of them. we also got a cameo from the other teams that appear in last bullet game when they show other schools.

-Excellent defensive from moyo on protecting Yuri from being taken,with help from Kaede's dad no doubt

good thing that order was stopped because if Riri wanted to continue protecting Yuri, she would have no choice but to break her word about Lilly not fighing each other.

How in the hell did no one notice a giant huge was on the way! also i am wonder why that scout was watching Yuri/Riri in that building in the first place. Yuri was even freaking waving at it.

- wow, Yuri is even more Op then i thought pulling out different abilities from others....too bad she wasn't op enough to survive that nuclear blast at least from what we see. I am not thinking she died until body or last episode airs and finish.

this was a great episode, look forward to tomorrow.

Riri cannot stand being confined for a week and doesn't get over Yuri's death easily, I actually do feel bad about her. On the positive side, I think Yuyu do have an idea of how to recover Riri's clover-shaped accessory through teamwork, only to find out it's broken and tasks Kaede to clone said accessory. Interactions between the Hitotsuyanagitai sans Riri are nice but I can see why they really do worry over Riri. I was surprised they did require help from other students to find it and Riri, after being released, seems happy about finding her signature clover accessory, but she did cry a lot nonetheless (her visiting the tombs with Yuyu did help bring comfort). Dainsleif get recovered with Moyu's work but I have a feeling that Misuzu isn't completely dead and Yuyu's issue with her will be bought back next time. It was okay at least and I'm looking forward to see how it'll end in two weeks. So far it was a fun ride (I enjoyed the most among my autumn picks), it's very flawed in parts (namely the weak characterization and too much infodump early on) but it was an acceptable product overall.

that's some serious effort the team put in on trying to find Riri's hairpin.

Milliam is suffering doing Phase Transcendence skill everyday. lol

and Fumi is overloaded with too much magie. xD

Kaede found the hairpin, but it looks burnt, maybe because it was shot by the Huge. So she create a new one to make Riri happy. Kaede efforts are rewarded with hug from Riri!! - but Yuyu is quick to step in to "thank" Kaede as well.. Yuyu-sama won't give Riri to anyone.

episode 10

- Still waiting for a body before i believe she is fully dead

- like the talk about whether it was fair to still punish Riri when the order was retracted.

-so we learn what everyone rare skills are, we are only missing Riri now.

- so Fumi gain so many buff so much, she was able to see the whole world

- - Shenlin rare skill Testnemt is nice, the fact she can share someone rare skill with other is op in some ways.

- see Riri's dead eyes is not the best feeling after Yuri death

-after 7 days, they finally get help from others most likely thanks to Riri's roomate Shizu who was listening to the bath talk.

- i have got to say they have some really good design for the other girls shown in this episode, some i like better then the main cast.

- Hmm, correct me if i am wrong but I could swear Mai say she couldn't water run like Yuri did but here she is doing it fine?

- Kaede just keeps on surprise me in how her character is. she want above and beyond to help Riri. making a new pendent and set it up for people to find( must have had a dip in the ocean when she was set it up since she was sneeze on the beach the first time) she thought way ahead of Riri's feelings.

- ah we finally get back to question on why Yuyu's Charm was in that huge in the first place. we know Yuyu pledge body was recovered since people though she killed by Yuyu because of her wounds so no turning into a huge. i think it has something to do with her Magie, they haven't gone in depth of what Magie truly is.

- at Yuri's grave, Yuyu talking about ghost or she hints at something else with her see her pledge ghost. Split personality maybe?

- episode 11 preview looks very interesting.

Why is Yuyu's drama continuing after being stalled for a few episodes? I thought Yuyu will get better as a person but I'm disappointed that this anime failed at giving proper developing to any girl that isn't Riri, Yuyu and Kaede. Shenlin and Yujia have a fantastic introduction episode they co-started and I'm disappointed Shouji Saeki did not have the skill to develop them either. Yuri got some development but it's too short while it lasted. This show is good in some technical fields and the story shows potential, but characterization is underutilized for most of the main cast and did not give proper backstories to characters they really needed. That's one more reason I really wanted to give stage play adaptations a try, if only because the anime is starting to get some spotlight, they deserve to be translated in English.

Otherwise, the episode did an okay job explaining charisma and I liked Misuzu's past moments but despite the fact I did enjoy it somewhat, I realized there's something lackluster going on and it is one of my less liked episodes of the series. Hopefully the finale will be better, but I can't stand the fact that they could have resolved Yuyu's backstory earlier before focusing on other characters.

tough situation, strong enemy appear and only Riri can use a charm.

This show is such a freaking mess. First they sideline the whole cast introducing Yuri, then they drop her like a sack of rotten potatoes and go back to the Yuyu crap that was supposed to be dealt with already. What the hell are these "writers" even doing? What a mess.

I think Yuri will somehow come back and save the day. If Misuzu's endgame, I wish they fleshed out her character a little more. Honestly, a lot of the girls in the legion could use more detail.

Very unlikely for Yuri to come back. Since Yuyu still hasn't gotten over Mizusu, it stands to reason she has to deal with this shit on her own (with Riri's help). Nothing else would make sense, though it's not like this show's "writers" care about making sense so who knows.

Like literally, the only thing to compliment about this anime was the battle animation.
Also, I guess, the ED is pretty cool. It almost makes you curious what the story is gonna be like.
...Except in reality, the plot wasn't really... interesting.

However,
-Too many characters. I think a gacha game is gonna come out, so they wanted to advertise all of the characters? I mean, there are so many of them that half don't really have a character, so that kinda fails as advertising?
-Out of the two major plot lines, Onee-sama going berserk dragged on too long. (The Yuri one was okay, if not predictable)
-Although the battle animation is good, the battle content itself... is not. Some have special powers... and then a bunch of swords... or something like that.

Spoiler for Episode 12 and final impressions:

The finale provided a nice closure to Yuyu's drama, she and Riri defeated the most powerful Huge they ever witnessed while she was wielding a Dainsleif. Every Lily contributed to defeating them and I was happy to see Yuyu and Mai finally get their bath scenes as all of the Lilies are resting in an open-air bath. We did get to see more of YuRi moments holding close to their bond when fighting the Yuigahama Huge. In the end, the Hitotsuyanagitai get stronger especially when it comes to how they feel each other.

Overall, this anime is very average at its core, there are a lot of flaws to be found in the story and the characterization is insufficient especially for any character that isn't Riri, Yuyu, Kaede or even Yuri. But the terminology and worldbuilding they did establish was nicely made and it seems the general core of the story is darker than what is going on right now. Even though the Hitotsuyanagitai, together with the rest of Yurigaoka's help, did defeat both Huge, it's obvious the threat isn't over and Azone International/Acus are just finding an excuse to make it somewhat open just so they can make more material if they want to alongside Bushiroad.

The execution could have been worse than what we got, but I've been loving this final product with its ups and downs.

well the anime ends and here how i feel about the last episode
-Yuyu getting her old weapon back and it remembering her magie was interesting

-was really hoping this be the episode where Yuyu could finally control lunatic tracer and give it a name for a Lilly who has master it

- why is Muyu acting so confuse on how Riri/Yuyu were fighting? She already knew Riri's skill, she even know the higher skill. this part was so inaccurate i was annoy.

- I figure we get a proper Neunwelt Tactic with the girls passing it like normal but Damn i wasn't expect one being done on Steroids with every lily( that must have been over 100 passes). i really enjoy this with the music.

well here another bath scene, someone must really like them although it the first time we see Yuyu and Mai bath with everyone else

why did they make the ultra class huge mission seem like a dangerous mission? they just float down to it, inserted the sword and use the special floaters to head back home. where was the danger?

i like the use of symbolism of bouquet when they show that bouquet and everyone sleeping right after

overall i give the show a 7/10. the character/weapon designs were great, had some good fight scenes between some episodes and the opening and endings are some of my favorites this season

the bad was while great character designs, WAY TOO MANY characters in this, the writing was all over the place, the drama of Yuyu should have been finish back in episode 5 or 6.

overall i enjoyed this for flaws and i hope for another season which is done more proper which is what hurt it for me.

I actually enjoyed this series quite a bit, and it was probably gayer than Adachi to Shimamura overall. My only gripe would be that out of the bajillion girls that were introduced all but maybe 6 were background. Be nice to see it continue, but I guess that's what the gacha game is for.

Too many characters, not enough focus on any of them but Yuri who died anyway. Pacing all over the place. Some interesting ideas but they went nowhere.

All in all, just trash.

It was okay but nothing to really write home about. Could have been much better if focused more on the large cast in the main legion and actually do something with Yuri instead of killing her off.
