...Where was I supposed to laugh, BTW? The vibration chair? Her snapping her back?
I think the male's tsukkomi and the overall tempo of the story wasn't done too well.

It's a shame, since I was kinda looking forward to it.

The series has its ups and downs. Some chapters are pretty bad, but it balances out with some really good ones.

No, I haven't read the manga. My friend showed me a few pages and at that point, it didn't look that bad.

OK, yeah. It is a little off on the pacing sometimes. Could maybe use a bit more conversation added in or something to fill in gaps and keep the punchlines from feeling delayed. Could've had some lines run a bit faster (like her complaining about how her hips still hurt after doing "that" the day before, might have done better with a little more speed). Still fun though.

They really didn't need that starting bit though. It's more fun to just have Uzaki be this annoying junior that keeps following him around; showing how she decided to do this because of concern after a year of seeing him alone only detracts from the humor. We can figure as much out over time, no need to make it look like pity or something.

As a manga reader i thoughly enjoyed it, i knew what to expect and i loved it.

That squeel Uzaki did was so damn adorable too

It was fun to watch, there wasn't that much of comedy but the best was the fluff between the two of them, feels like takagi-san. I wonder why she wasted a year watching him... I mean after the first season and maybe the second you get the idea he is a loner already, she wasted time.

Is this show about whether big boobs are enough to compensate for a nasty personality? Well, actually, she wasn't that annoying. Her not saying anything when senpai grabbed her boob won her major points. We know she's doing this because she cares about him too.

Honestly what sold me was that she did only change her tune after a year had passed. I think she would have been purely happy being the cute and quieter kouhai if there had been some part of his life she could easily slip into. But since he was pretty isolated (even if he was comfortable with that) there just wasn't any room. Time is limited and if she wanted to do something now was the time. So...she got rather over the top and intrusive. Could still argue that's a bad move to make, but at least I get where she's coming from.

At least while she does manage to annoy the heck out of him at times...he does enjoy her presence. Would probably enjoy her presence more if she could dial it back a bit. There's probably a happy medium where she can insert herself into his life and not end up with the nose pinch...

So a college student reunites with his kouhai from high school and said kouhai discovers he's basically a loner layabout in college and seeks to stick to him like clue in order to get him to have fun and not be lonely. She may be a little annoying about it, but it's sweet all the same .

So is Uzaki's more outgoing, loud, and teasing personality what she's actually like, or is that a performance to keep things lively with her Senpai? The flashbacks to her in high school and what we saw of her at the beginning makes it seem like she was much meeker and more soft-spoken then she acts now. Maybe she feels that's the kind of person Shinich needs in his life to get him to engage more? Or she's re-inventing herself in college to be more of the person she wants to be ?

I have to admit...kind of liked how high school Uzaki's hair was a bit longer. Made her look really cute. Of course, I guess the main appeal of Uzaki visually is her grey hair, petite yet shapely body, and her humongous Uzaki's .

I get the sense Uzaki feels indebted or close to Shinichi because of their time together in the swim club in high school, although I'm curious exactly what their relationship was like back then. Does Uzaki want to be their for Shinichi like she felt like was for her when they were in high school ?

Probably a good idea to keep your distance from someone playing a VR game .

Points to Uzaki for not making a big deal out of Shinichi accidentally fondling her breasts! She actually didn't seem to mind it much .

Wow, that batting ring with the virtual pitcher was pretty cool .

Y'know, if you go to various places with a girl on such a consistent basis, people are likely to assume you're dating. Even the whole campus is liable to assume these two have a very hot and heavy sex life with Uzaki's loud mouth and complete denseness regarding what she's saying in public .

Uzaki may come off like she's pestering him, but she does make things fun and interesting, to where Shinichi can't help but enjoy himself. Of course, she still annoys the heck out of him .

For those of you that don't know, the points of interest of this anime are:

- Uzaki teasing senpai.

- Their interactions with each other.

- Every other characters reaction to them (just wait until you meet the other cast members).

- All of the misunderstandings.

I'm really curious about high school Uzaki too. It kind of looked like she was a loner herself, and senpai may have saved her from that so she wants to repay him (plus it's obvious she likes him). And yeah, she looked better with longer hair.

From what I know, yes, this hyper, arrogant, intrusive personality is indeed the real Uzaki, not an act. Part of the reason I felt that first scene kind of detracts, as it makes it look like she decided to be this way to "help" senpai. I mean yes, her constant attention is indeed partly born from her inability to accept that someone would enjoy spending a good portion of their time alone, but still it just paints a picture that doesn't seem to fit that well to me.

Yeah, it does kind of give the impression she changed for him, but maybe in practice it was more that she now feels more comfortable being herself around him then she did in high school ?

Uzaki is great so far. I'm a sucker for genki or deredere especially if they're a bit crazy. The short hair is a plus too. I don't get you crazies who think she looks better with long hair.
