Have you never fell in love? Sometimes, you like a girl even when the girl have done nothing for you. That's just realistic human nature. I experienced it, my family & extended family experienced it, my friends experienced it and I bet most people with normal social lives have experienced it too .

In this case, Rikka even helped Yuta during his amnesiac moments, even if reluctantly.

Also we don't know wtf happened before the memory loss, but I'm sure we'll find out in a flashback eventually. My guess is anyway that Yuta had just confessed before he passed out (would explain Rikka's question about pretending that he'd lost his memory).

This is exactly what I was thinking; he confessed he liked Rikka, fell unconscious, woke up with amnesia, and Rikka suspected for a moment that he was faking amnesia to get out of confessing to her.

A dream world, huh? I think we know to expect Yuuta dreaming of Rikka. (among other things too, maybe) I wonder if the mental attack will just be to Yuuta or if Utsumi and Rikka will somehow be affected too.

The support gattai is called Powered Zenon. Another throwback to Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad?

That early, I’d expect it to be Anti who switches sides. That bit of setup between him and Rikka is clearly meant to be the basis of him switching sides, plus he has character goods/merchandise, so if only one of them becomes a good guy as the synopsis list suggests, it’ll be him. If Akane ever switches sides too, it’ll be in a dramatic final or second to last episode.

So episode 11 we find out if there really was anything between Yuuta and Rikka. Among other things, of course.

I pray for Akane to fuse with Alexis so Gridman/Yuta can at least beat the fear of death into her.

Well, I can somewhat sympathetic with her cause of releasing tentacle kaiju on someone, even if that is way too far and 3 innocents were brutally killed. You should not mistake the name/reference of kaiju/mech, especially in front of the show's hardcore fans.

I'd have to agree that something happened before "memory loss". He sits closest to Akane and therefore should be socializing more with her in class.

I kind of wonder about Akane being in the swimsuit episode. It may be nothing, but I thought it was odd that she kept her jacket on in the scorching heat. Maybe she doesn't like showing her body (except her feet), or she has tons of scars on her wrists. We've never seen her sleeveless, have we?

On the other hand, I doubt they'd have a character as hot as Akane sit out the traditional swimsuit episode.

I have thought about whether Akane has committed self-harm, especially with all the focus on her knife (granted, it's the same one she uses to carve Kaiju, so emphasis on it makes sense).
