Fortune Cat
This show has slow pacing, since it's been the second episode, and they're keeping up introducing more characters that add to the bulk of Circus.
If I understand, Circus designates captains, whom are high-ranking agents from the elite. From what I see, each Captain is given a ship and a crew to command. Missions are assigned to each captain individually, however, there are exceptional super cases which would require more than one captain. The circus I.D. that Nai holds is an old-fashioned model, which was kept by Karok once, nonetheless, Circus has no records of Karok ever forming part of their organization. Nevertheless, Hirato has taken and interest in Nai to willingly help him to trail Karoks' whereabouts in exchange of cooperation from the latter; Gareki gets included for Circus's package because Hirato deems his abilities quite curious. So far we have Circus: two captains already introduced following orders from the High Command. The people in light regulating their agents not straying off from their protocols and rules. Captain Hirato commands his own ship, and his crew consists of twin-tails Tsukumo, Cheshire cat Yogi, and an unnamed, green-haired beauty, adding a bunch of creepy sheep wearing tuxedo and top hats. From Hirato we learned that an unknown organization is misusing science to artificially create "Vargas"; predatory and nasty mutants "evolved" from humans, which Mine (long arms, skeletal woman) was one of them. The drawback is that if any unfortunate victim happens to get contaminated with the blood of a "Vargas", then she or he eventually will become a Vargas too. For now... that's all been revealed so far. We also have the antagonistic organization making their move from behind-the-scenes to kidnap Nai, but until the second episode have failed to succeed. |

Harrrrr, hooow cute. The white fluffy Nai, finally get to see it on screen....
Though, a little disappointed they skipped Hirato's "Hey Agari, this is how we are going to get around Magnobe this time" moment. Especially when we'll have those moments again in the future. |

Felt sorry for Nai.
Gareki was being too rough with him. Probably because they figured out he wasn't really human. It was really sweet how he sees a cute little animal when he looks at Nai. Nai truly is stuck to him like a pet. Looks like joining the Karneval was a good thing for both of them. Well, at least for now. Hope they won't use and abuse them too much.

I am impressed with the pacing. It's quite fast, but at the same time, they are not compromising anything important from the manga. At this rate, they might reach chapter 50+ for the finale.

Gareki now sees Nai in a whole new light...ROFL at his imagination.
Seems like Gareki has Karoku figured out somewhat...and someone give Gareki a weapon, for goodness sake! Having Yogi protect him is making the guy blush. ...and did I just witness Gareki straddling Yogi?

I want to commend all the manga readers who knew about Nai's true form. I didn't see any post that even hinted at the revelation prior to its reveal. After seeing hints and spoilers in so many other threads lately, it's been a pleasure seeing all the restraint that was displayed here. Keep up the good work!

^To be fair, this might have to do with the fact it's one of the least discussed show of the season. If there were more speculations going on in this thread then maybe somebody would have slipped.
Those scenes where Gareki imagined Nai in his true form were pretty funny.

Phantom Picnic
What I learned from the third episode are possibilities based on the truth about Nai not being human.
Spoiler:
Another slow episodes that just made me sit idly watching about 24 minutes of the show on-screen, though Gareki mustering himself not imagine Nai as a Niji animal brought upon me some couple of laughter reaction. However, a little more explaining.... Spoiler:

I've been wanting to watch this, I checked the OP and it was cool, lot's of characters but, I don't know what kind of anime is this? is like shonen or more mystery or what? I mean, if it's not gonna have awesome fighting scenes, at least it should have a decent storyline right?
