Technically, that's logical and true. However, I can always equate this to Kyoshiro as well.

Kyoshiro's initial objective: Get close to Shiratori Kuu, bring her in and in that event be one step closer to achieving the twisted version of whatever Kazuya's goal was, and that is in his opinion, killing all the Zettai Tenshi.

Changes: Kyoshiro eventually gets emotionally attached to Kuu, despite attempting to distance himself as he implied, but ultimately falls for her.

Question here that's screaming in his head: "What the hell happened to your duty to your beloved Nii-san?!"

Kyoshiro: "To hell with it. I love her. I've "consulted" with him and he agrees. Shut up."

While this isn't the best comparison, what I want to get across are the changes. She was infatuated with him because Kyoshiro was indeed like a prince, but did this 'real thing' spend time with her? Care for her? Help her out in dire need, whatever his real agenda was? Did she not enjoy being with him even without reason? That's were the similarities set in. It's the interaction of both characters with each other that change their initial perspectives that allows them to look at each other in a different light.

Apparently you've been watching episode 9, while I haven't.

Indeed, I had even stated once that somewhere in Kuu, she's still living in her fantasy, although I doubt the Shiratori Kuu would have went without struggling, the point where she is also Ciello and Valticia (whoever they are...Need that episode! >.<) could very well alter her decisions ultimately.

There is no absolute law saying which to choose. Just use which you prefer.

I already knew "Waruteishia" (or Warutishia") is the romanized transliteration of ワルテイシア, but what I was wondering was if the official romanized spelling was confirmed (like in the case of "Tarlotte"). Anyway, based on what you said, it seems it's not confirmed yet. Is that correct?

Also the correct spelling for "Ciello" is most likely "Cielo", which is "sky" in spanish. After all, "Kuu" (空) is written with the same kanji as "sky".

A lot of people haven't seen ep9 yet, since it hasn't been subbed in English. So those of us who have seen it should probably be more careful about keeping spoilers hidden. We learn a lot about Kazuya, Kuu, Valticia, etc., in ep9, and we should keep all of that -- and speculations based on it -- hidden until the sub comes out.

I just watched a Chinese sub and loved ep9 even more. Strong and deep, as the intense discussions prove.

Kazuya is monomaniacally proud, but he can be nice to his creatures -- especially to Kuu/Valticia, who apparently gave him his power. Now we understand that scene of young Kuu standing on the edge of the pit of destruction, after the explosion, and after her "soul" had been ripped out.

I still don't understand Valticia: she seems so kindly, and has such a nice voice. And what she says in her "persuasions" all seems to be true. Her kindly sweeping up after Kazuya, and her still moments, into which you can read some emotion (I'm not sure what), remind me of Setsuna.

In the preview, I think Soujirou is holding Himeko over a precipice. She has probably come to get Tarlotte's help against Kazuya. Can it be that the vicious tiger-cub and her kindly protector will be the ones to rescue them all?

Valticia is played by Ogata Megumi, a 40-year-old VA who was Sailor Uranus, Ikari Shinji in NGE, and the adult UFO Princess Valkyrie.

She doesn't sound anything like Sailor Uranus at all and she sounds like she has a cold. Matsuoka Yuki doesn't sound much like Eva either. (That voice clip on the website you gave earlier sounds really, really weird compared to Setsuna's voice.)

Spoiler for Manga and episode 9:

Soujirou, Himiko and Kyoshiro look like the ones that are going to do the saving, but not Tarlotte, if the anime ends up going on the same path as the manga. In the manga, Kazuya goes after the Absolute Angels, but he captures Tarlotte first, then Kaon.

I suspect his ultimate goal is to fuse all of the Zettai Tenshi together. It’s not only Kaon that Kazuya managed to capture. He succeeded in snatching Tarurotte as well and he beat up poor Soujirou (Gawd knows what happened to him after that incident). He’s now on the verge of capturing Kuu after beating and mentally ravaging Kyoushirou, but Setsuna has stepped forward to battle Kazuya.

Anyway, I suspect that time in the lab when Kazuya said "Let's go together", held out his hand and took it was Kuu's dream that she had in the first episode. Also might be what triggered the explosion in the first place.

The episode also managed to answer some more questions, such as the fact that Waruteishia has reincarnated/changed bodies. It answered why Kuu always has those silly blue ribbons in her hair and why she was born with them.
By the way, mecha-Kuu looks really silly, almost like a Zord out of Power rangers.

But it did bring up the question of how did Kyoshiro know Waruteishia (episode 4) and why did it take Setsuna so long to recognize her?

Whatever happened with you in the past doesn’t justify what you do in the present. Kyoshiro is a bastard and it doesn't matter what happened with his brother when he was a child. Sure, it adds to his character development, but it doesn't justify his actions.

Kazuya is the villain, but that doesn't mean Kyoshiro is not a asshole. He is period

I meant her old memories that waruteshia buried and she's not really whole yet is she? Waruteshia hasn't actually molded into one with Kuu yet so you're not completely right.

mika calls for kaon to attack but gets her caught in the beam...but without a thought she carries on chanting the spell ~ himiko tries to save kaon (or die together) ~ but thats where Waruteishia gets her chance to break things up and also obtain an unconcious kaon...

mika wont admit defeat but kazuya continues to taunt her...pissed she shoots his face (yay) but with no effect (boo T_T) ~ kazuya then goes and stabs mika and he also destroys her whole palace...

waking up himiko finds mika dying...she tries to save her but its no use...mika asks why...why does himiko treat her so nice after what she did?...with her final breath mika gives himiko her emblem and asks her to go save kaon...sad sad scene as mika dies ;_;

away we see kazuya playing with kuu...with Waruteishia in the back playing a harp...

wow what a turn of events O.o so it really was kuu who was in that tube in the flashbacks (okey i guessed right )

kazuya really is an idiot...it clear who the villain is now and i think i have an idea what hes up to...i bet his next target would be batraz to complete his collection and carry out his evil scheme ~

also ive noticed that Waruteishia seems a bit odd...she doesnt enjoy doing the things that shes doing...almost as if shes being forced under no choice of her won...my my what will happen next?

There are quite a few inaccuracies in your review Mr. DeathKillz, but you perfectly make clear the general idea and thanks to that I understood the episode.

Kazuya MUST be nominated as the Prince of Pimps and receive the award as the Worst (Lamest) Anime Villain of the Year. To be honest, his orgasmic quotes of poetry come to match with Leonil Taylor's hollow speeches of corniness.

So Kazuya is not only the biggest MOTHERFUCKER and two-face in existence for this universe, but he also was transformed into the bloody reincarnation of all the mana in heaven during that BIG BANG explosion. How crazy

Talk how annoying and corny Kyoshiro sounded and acted like everytime he was addressing Kazuya this, and Kazuya that... and top it all, emulating a bastard for a brother.

I back those words, since Kazuya has arrived and bringing all of his pimpiness to the nth glory.

It is good to see that the episode showcased a different of shade on Mika which allowed me to feel for her and also making amends for her wrongdoings.

Mika was bewildered and frustrated at her deathbed, because Himiko was attempting to save her. Mika expected that Himiko should hate her due to all the nasty things she trangressed upon Kaon and her (Himiko).

Like Mika stated, Kazuya's colors are of a demon who strips off the happiness from anyone around him. It is unforgiveable and unfathomable that he used his bishie pimpiness to sway Mika's friend (and possibly love) away from her for just a hollow reason to act cute and watch Mika heartbroken sadistically.

I was sobbing during Mika's last moments, and I completely forgave her sins when she uttered that Himikos' hands were warm as her final words.

Mika geniunely loved Kaon and not for a lustful desire. She became embellished with her (Kaon) the first she (Mika) saw her. I think that Mika became overzealous once Kaon came to her possession, because she feared the same that happened to her previous friend with Kazuya will repeat again, which anyway it did at the end, and wanted not to lose another loved one again.

Yes, I also noticed Walteishia's strange behavior.

My theory is that Kuu's memories of everyone she came in contact with did not fade away at all, rather all of them flowed into Walteishia.

With those memories on her, Walteishia felt miserable and empathetic for the harm she was forced to do on Kazuyas' orders.
1. Feeling sorrow for separating Kaon away from Himiko.

2. She was at the verge of tears watching Kyoshiro left bloody, battered, and nearly agonizing.

Walteishia and Kuu were originally one Absolute Angel, but both the body (Kuu) and the soul (Walteishia) were splitted by the explosion. Moreover, it was Kazuya the prime guilty of triggering said explosion due to inciting Cielo to come with that corny line of his; he wanted the beautiful power of mana that Cielo embodies, after all.

But an epiphany has struck me on the head.

There are only three episodes left.

It would be natural that Kyoshiro would be wallowing on self-pity and crying like a little girl, since Kazuya bloodily beated him up that naive image he (Kyoshiro) held for the latter.

He will be crawling inside his shell so as not getting hurt anymore and lose any sane desire to keep in living.

Well that's my take for how Kyoshiro would be behaving in episode 10. Luckily, I can hope that Sojiro comes and beats him senseless to snap him out and tell him start behaving a man.
