This time Lise went full incest mode and she's very suspicious about her relationship with the Stasi.

Theo right now is a more likeable character even if he's the edge master on SM. At this point we're not in the game anymore, this is LN territory.

Overall was an Ok episode and as always I still feel the rush.

YES!! Wincest!! Oh yea! But yea, Theo is a good onii chan though. I would do the same, but I would still keep that suspicion.

I mean, if Lise wants to divert attention away from herself, was there a need to confront Katia like that? So she want to increase suspicion but her final goal is to keep her oniichan to herself?

Could just mean that Lise played her cards poorly. That she thought throwing a heavy dose of pressure onto Katia would make her crack. After all her brother wasn't supposed to be back that soon and his presence was what broke up that situation. Offer her a situation where romantic rival disappears and Katia herself isn't interrogated.

Plus could just mean she didn't think the previous tactic was working. If she was put there to get intel then there is probably a time limit on her activities. No one was willing to open up completely to her about their secrets so...change the game.

Lise wants Theo to go down the wincest route. Will Theo accept or not?

Lise sort of messed up her chances of having Katia on her side by having that confrontation with Katia. Katia was the one person that might have stood by her other than Theo, but Lise basically shot herself in the foot there.

Despite being a Stasi spy, don't forget Lise is Theo's imouto and loves her onii-chan dearly. Theo is certainly in a conflicting position. Make no mistake, most find her suspicious, but as his family, it's hard for him to break the poor girl down mentally even with his Stasi-phobic paranoia after what the Stasi did to the siblings.

I can imagine Axman is sitting at a distant corner of the opera laughing at them.

To be continued for the Cold War politics...

To be honest, if the protagonist doesn't see her as more than a sister, suddenly hugging him naked would creep him out so much...

Anyways, his options right now are to push her away or take the opportunity and do it

and then push her away (she's probably already gone through one of those *insert ero-doujin developments* anyways). I'm sure he isn't stupid enough to actually submit to her, but...

Uhm I don't get the Mu-Luv country affiliations anymore... Why the heck is austria suddenly USSR territory? And is it with the EU forces now or with the warsaw pact?

Edit: uhm actually on the wiki its sudenly part of nether.. erm...?

I think you might be referring to Hungary - your neighbor.

Warsaw Pact in Muv-Luv is on independent stance when they were cut off from the USSR by the BETAs, yet still keep in touch with them while seeking closer ties with the West. They seek for EU for military cooperation and supplies to stand their grounds while retaining their ideology if possible - cause Westernization may not sit well for the likes of Gretel. Nevertheless, you should look no further than how mainland China and Taiwan unified as the Unified Front of China military alliance.

I like the alternative idea of two different ideologies are allowed to be retained and coexist under a fateful circumstances, rather than the "winner rise, loser fall" kind of assimilation.

I doubt he'll go through with it though, dunno if he ever looked at her that way, the timing is rather off and doing his non-blood related sister is probably the last thing on his mind right now. T

Poor Lise though...by the way she looked when she had her conversation with Katia, the stasi probably did some nasty shit to her and with the way things are, squad 666 can't afford to give her the benefit of doubt - she's a villain to them. Even worse when she's your only remaining family member that you haven't seen for ages and got along great with. Theodor's caught between a rock & a hard place, although his priorities most likely stand with Iris, Katia & squad 666.
