Anime domain for the manga adaptation of "Kanojo, Okarishimasu" registered recently. Looks like an anime is coming.

Plot

In Japan, the lonely have a new way out — online services that rent out dads, children, even girlfriends! When Kazuya's true love dumps him, he's just desperate enough to try it, and he's shocked at how cute and sweet his rental girlfriend turns out to be. But she wants to keep their "relationship" a secret, and there's a complication... she goes to his university... and their grandmothers are in the same home... and they live next door to each other?! And Kazuya finds out she's not nearly as nice in "real life"..

The animation in the PV looks really nice. Definitely doing a good job of depicting the female lead as a real beauty, and teasing her "true" self at the end .

That is a pretty impressive cast of female seiyuu! I hear the primary appeal of this series is the girls, so makes sense to get some big and talented names to play them .

(Poor Shun Horie though. I see a lot of people mistaking him for Gakuto Kajiwara just because he played Asta in a Black Clover special before the anime ).

True. I think people probably just looked him up, saw his credits, and just assumed he was the only Asta voice .

I despise the source material with passion, so I'm more curious about how come that among Juliet, DomeKano, 5toubun and this one, 5toubun ended up with the budget anime from Weekly Shounen Magazine, when even before the adaptation, it was received as far as I know the best and sold the best among the four? And this one gets Dr. Stone's studio, not freaking Tezuka Productions.

Also, they sure as hell like to rely on all-star seiyuu cast, hoping that at least because of them, people would get interested. Well, in this case, I won't blame them that they don't trust the source's strengths.

Theres an awful lot of cockblocking though, as you would expect of romcoms.
