Please use this thread to discuss your expectations of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A wakening of the Trailblazer (due to be released on September 18, 2010) and to speculate as to what story elements will be used.

A discussion thread (with poll) will be created when the movie is actually released (AnimeSuki would consider it currently as unlicensed for the time being).

Gundam 00 QUANTA
- Setsuna's machine
- Has a shield like the 00-Raiser or the left shoulder
- Has tonnes of fannels [?]. There is a scene where the fannels are being used.
- There's considerably a lot of blue in the color scheme.

GUNDAM HARUT
- Allelujah's machine
- Colored orange
- can transform
- Harut and Marut are two angels mentioned in the Qur’an. The Gundam has a visor like the Astraea and the GN Archer.

GUNDAM ZABANIYA [not sure, romanization not available]
- Lockon's machine
- The Zabaaniyah are the gardians of Hell in the Qur’an.
- Looks like a close-combat unit.
- It has a slim torso and big legs like the Virtue.
- It carries a “GN Armor lite” on its back.
- Main weapon : Double hand gun.

GUNDAM RAFAEL
- Tieria's machine
- See the Archangel Raphael.
- It has wired cannons in its fingers (like the Belphegor Gundam) and 4 cannons on its shoulders.

I figured that it was high time that there was a movie thread, and the mecha list was the first post that seemed to have some sort of solid information on what would be in it. And you're right; this would be the best place to consolidate the movie information.

Kamiya had mentioned earlier when asked how he wanted Tieria to look if he got a body that he wanted Tieria to look as he normally did. Well, he did, but it was like a hologram and Mizushima kantoku pointed that out, saying it wasn't a physical body and that his shape might change. Then they started talking about what if Tieria became all miniature like and stood on Setsuna's shoulder (think Sumomo in Chobits). Then Miyano was all pretending that mini!Tieria was too noisy and put him in his pocket. LOL!!!!! It was hilarious. And then they talked about a bunch of mini!Tieria's running around, haha.

Ahhhhhhh~~~ The movie is going to be soooooooooo cooooooooooool!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!

Reminds me of when they showed the Seed Movie preview three years ago in that Gundam Expo... Hope this turns out much better than that one did.

I'm hoping the movie will be at least 2 hours long so we will have a great plot and more importantly, enough screen time to show off the characters and mobile suit actions!

I'm excited to see this 00 Quanta, especially since it'll look like the Exia. So there's no word if this Quanta Gundam will need an O-Raiser system to work?

Considering how unique the original GN-Drives are, if the new GN-Drives have any kind of similarity to them, then an 0-Raiser system will undoubtedly be needed. It just won't need an actual 0-Raiser attached to it since they have that data now.

Also keep in mind that its from the Exia lineage. That doesn't necessarily mean that it'll look like the Exia.

Considering Aeolia Schenberg's plan hinging on the Twin Drive System and Trans-AM Burst, the original GN-Drives are likely ones built exclusively for TDS.
