Lol I logged in to watch the LCS and suddenly realized that there's a Dota 2 tournament with a game that's at 171 minutes and counting. It's going to break the 3 hour mark...

It took ~200:35 minutes for that game to end. Everyone except EE wanted to abort/draw the game but nope, let's play. It's very ironical that in the end EE got caught without buyback and lost his team the game.

This just proves that starladder is a poorly ruled tournament (admins not being able to tie game because one player > admins) and BS situations like this will never arise in league.

Fnatic just can't catch a break with these Nexus showdown situations. Although, Graves could've extended that game if he hadn't cancelled his last auto on Cait XD

Anyway, kids, if there's one thing to learn from this match, it's...NOW YOU KNOW WHY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GET AT LEAST TWO DRAGONS!!!! GG to both teams despite all the gaping flaws (massing kills on support, tons of fail ganks and those two failed Nexus sieges). I can't believe the unicorns got it!

People in OCE who don't want to play ranked have no choice in that matter (no draft, team builder has been utterly dead for months). :P

Anyone else seen this weeks matches in Korea? They've gone completely mad, we've had support Maokai, support Irelia, Vlad, Udyr, and mid Sion with double banner of command. It's utterly glorious.

I hate team builder and draft pick since they take so long to start. I do blinds when I'm queued up with all my friends.

If I wanna do something serious, then I do ranked.

I'd rather wait a few minutes longer for a decent match, then go for blind pick outside of full premades.

Kafriel Senior Guest Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Athens (GMT+2) Age: 35	Spoiler for EU LCS GMB vs MYM: Pinoy screwed it twice, his TF presence amounted to 0 and GMB could have come out on the winning side of the first few fights. By the time MYM had 4 dragons, the outcome had already been decided...talk about a crushing defeat, 5/5 dragons and 2/2 barons, all inhibitors destroyed and a single Q from Kori taking 60% off of Cabo's HP. It's not that GMB's initial gambit of killing top with 3 members was TOO bad even if they came out losing both a turret and a dragon, but they just gave up on the other 2 dragons, in addition to getting caught out of position twice. Spoiler for ROC vs FNC: Okay, that was an amazing game FNC's Hecarim/Zac combo was simply remarkable, soooo much mobility, a tough front and, in Huni's case, he could dish out the pain as well. The fact that Steelback didn't die once as Graves just proved how strong their sense of teamplay is. GG. Spoiler for CW vs UOL: Uuuuh crazy game, I'm still not used to the whole jungle duo thing, but gj getting a drake before the 4' mark, it was a great head start. Lots of whacky shit like double tp on homeguard's just because, not to mention blowing two ults to NOT engage...anyway, it was a fun match albeit clearly of a lower level than the previous one. Spoiler for EL vs H2K: Now that's what I'm talking about! High risk/high reward team for Elements, Froggen did well not to feed Ryu while managing his mana pool but H2K played pretty damn well with the Thresh hooks and pushed EL on equal footing...but that final push was just steamroll, great judgement from EL. Spoiler for GIA vs SK: Best match of the day, awesome early game from Giants, quite a few kills to which SK responded by a tower per kill, but still Giants were always a turret ahead! Alas, Jax wasn't meant to last...Maokai just overshadows his presence in a teamfight and honestly I was very happy to see Lee Sin in a serious match. Forgiven performed phenomenally on Tristana - postponing boots gave him every right to out-trade Jinx and the stacking dragons paved the way for the supercarry that made a push similar to that of Elements, taking the Nexus from the inhibitor turret TF. Jax and Lulu were caught out of position at baron and Pipi's misflash did not go unpunished...despite this, which ultimately cost them the game, Giants played much better than SK early on. gonna update for the other matches later Last edited by Kafriel; 2015-03-19 at 17:21.
