We're talking about pub raids though. Honestly I cant agree with the solution "just join train!" when some people doesn't have enough connections to do that. I got some of my guildie to help, but not everyone does

I'm surprised you can join pubs in the first place.

Even with a script i can't join pubs thanks to my ping, 199ms to gbf

Even putting the high elemental quartz cost aside, needing to break down not one, but two fully upgraded weapons just to get the fragments needed is incredibly dumb design.

I guess i'll grab a gold bar from this month's GW and then in April's celestial. I'll just 5* Esser and won't bother again. I need my upgraded placebo.

I'm sure there are many HL players who have unlocked two or more GW characters. If you merely needed to possess such weapons it wouldn't be an issue, but to upgrade them all the way just to break them? There's gotta be a better way.
Are the 5* GWs really that game-breakingly good?

That was a really stupid decision of cygames.
Not only needing a lot of gold bars, you still need to use elemental quartz, weapon shards...
I won't really bother with 5*, I'd rather get other characters.

Hard to judge as there are only 2 or 3 people who have 5* for now, but their on-element support skill is crazy, like the seraphic weapons. Affects the team or MC too(?)

Well, I guess I'm doing something wrong about debuffing the enemy. When I host a Bella fight myself and get my DEF down debuffs on it, I'm doing about 100k damage per hit with MLB Athena support summon. (120k with Shiva non-MLB support summon) No ATT buffs.
But when I use BP to get into a fresh Bella room with only the host in there and the exact same party from my list, I often find myself doing 200k damage per hit with Athena support, no ATT buffs. This is when the room has just started, so I know the host hasn't had the turns to charge up his/her summons.
Is there a hidden mechanic in there somewhere? (People who come in to help get a damage bonus? Doesn't make much sense....) Or am I just not using the right debuffs? I'm using DF main with Arrow Rain 3, and getting a second DEF down from Clarisse. I use another DEF down from Colossus and Fire res down from Fafnir when they charge up. Is it that Armor Break stacks with Miserable Mist and a third DEF down ability like Clarisse's? (Dosent make much sense either)

Or your guild member turn on the ATK bonus via Soul Powder when you enter the second raid, when they haven't during the first one?
Or did the host already used Flare?

I know about the guild attack boost and the HP boost. Our guild has had it on the whole time at max 30%. (Except during the interval) And no flare, I haven't seen flares in any of the rooms I've joined. Nothing except attack down and defense down in the two examples Im talking about.

Maybe the host already cast Miserable Mist or some other debuff on the enemy. It's the most likely explanation.

As I already said def down and att down are on when I get into the rooms. And also as I already said, I use Miserable Mist stacked with Clarisse's def down on my hosted bosses and come up way short of whatever def down debuffs these guys are using.
I'm not sure you got what I was saying.

What's happening is that when I host a Bella and hit it with my two stacked def downs I do about 100k damage. When I join somebody else's room and they have def down on the Bella already with no Flare, I'm doing 200k damage. So I'm already talking about def debuffs, I'm asking if there's some def down debuffs combination better than Miserable Mist+Clarisse's that explains why other people are getting Bella's def down farther than I am.

Hmm, that IS strange. I thought Def down couldn't go below 50%. If MM is 25% and Clarisse is 25% too (is it?) then you should be capping Def down same as the host's room. Maybe there's a hidden join bonus or some other kind of debuff that's not showing up.

So the best Celeste weapon pool is just a plain 7x Celeste claw with 3 Bahamut/Unknown/normal weapons? Want to reconfirm this before I spend my 5000 points.
