Oh yeah, I think I saw a scan somewhere where the Index mangaka draw Touma's winter outfit that the light novel artist designed... xD;

There are many of these actually:
In volume 6 you can see of the Accelerator with cane and winter clothes; you can also see one for Mikoto, Kuroko and the Sisters with winter uniform.
The ones for Touma can be seen in the chapters that are going to be compiled on Volume 8, those chapters are between 39 and 44. I remember a very cool illustration with Mikoto, the Accelerator, Index and Touma in winter outfits.

Hey guys, new here. I haven't read all of To aru majutsu no Index but I've seen the first six episodes and read about 20 of the latest chapters (and know some of the important stuff that happens in-between). So if I'm ever wrong about something in the future let me know.

So I just got done reading the raws for chapter 44 and all I can say is Dawwwwwwww. Hyoka Kazakiri is now my new favorite character

On a slightly different note. I know everyone usually tends to take sides when shipping Touma with either Index or Mikoto but this last chapter made me go "To hell with them".

The way Hyoka looked when she hugged Touma was so adorable it made me want to melt. And I just personally believe that their personalities complement each other the best out of all the girls

I know it's crack as all hell and will never happen but I can't help but ship them hard.

Anyway it's sad that her arc is finished I truly wanted to see more of her. Granted, I know Hyoka comes back later on but I was hoping the three of them could hang out and be friends forever.

apparently not. Hyouka herself said Touma is kinda dangerous in vol 6. Hyouka just being Touma will probably had an effect but direct contact will be instant death.

It's not something you want to test. Beside, you don't know if Imagine Breaker is just restricted to his skin.

Well, he can always test it. I am sure if you ask Mikoto to go 100% on you, you would get a good analysis

Why do these chapters take so long to scanlate? Chapter 44 has been out for a while now.

Quoting me from another place

The scanlation team mainly works with the japanese raws, however for the last couple of chapters the internet has been cruel and only the chinese raws have been at hand. The group has previously worked on chinese versions of Index but that was because they actually got special collaboration from outside the group (aka chinese -> english script), however it seems that lately that collaboration hasn't been available.

This is, of course; only the important bits that I have gathered from reading the scanlator's comments about their own releases. I'm in no way associated to them or I know something that they haven't told us openly already.

BTW, I think that the manga was going to take a month off, thus 45 won't be around until late June.

Its different though. Touma hasn't seen stiyl since the first volume.
