Naruto. Though I do like Sasuke a lot more now that he's a bad guy.

Sasuke is cool when he's being a humble badass and Naruto is cool when he's being a successful idiot instead of a failure idiot. Its fun to see Sasuke fail and become stronger and see Naruto suceed when he is expected to fail. I'd say Sasuke is cooler than Naruto when he isn't being arrogant and Naruto is cooler when he gets serious. Unlike DBZ where I spent most of the time booing Goku, Naruto is actually a more likeable character you want to see win so I'd have to say I like him more.

Since I found Naruto an annoying little brat from ep^1 , I prefer Sasuke above all, I can identify alot more with him than with Naruto, at least he feels alot more human.

I agree with this. Sasuke became more likeable to me when he got his ass kicked by Lee and barely defeated his prelimanary exam opponent. He then redeemed himself during the Finals against Gaara showing alot of style and finesse. Although it was annoying to see the crowd regard Gaara as an underdog and praise Sasuke as if he were some kind of Uchiha Messiah. I don't like seeing main characters beat opponents they'd have no chance against earlier and make the supporting charcters look weak, Goku did that time and again when just a few chapters earlier he would have gotten his ass kicked he ends up winning as if the opponent was nothing to him, when the supporting characters gave all they had just to hold their own. I'm glad the Naruto series doesn't do that too much. Everyone seems to get owned eventually and never look invincible.

I can identify with Sasuke easily, especially with his attempt to not let anyone close to him and his drastic change due to a traumatizing event. Similar to him, I tend to get somewhat arrogant as long as I'm the best one around in a subject or whatever, but I get somewhat depressed as soon as I remind myself of how bad I am compared to others. Above all else, I can identify with the question "What have I been doing up till now?"

Even though I like the current manga Naruto (contrary to the current anime Naruto) more than the typical Shounen main character, I do not think he is nearly as good as Sasuke in any way.

Going to have to pick Naruto since it won't have to worry about him stabbing me in the back, or in the front with the use of a certain jutsu.

But really, neither characters top my list of favorite anime characters overall.

Sasuke. Naruto is kinda static. plus, dark and tragic characters always seem to grab my attention.

That's why I gave him the chapter and page where he was wrong. There is a small detail he felt that he had to add in ( )'s which is wrong. Now can we stop talking about this in an anime thread because some of these posts will probably get deleted and one of us might end up with a ban.

On another note, I only found one thread that was about almost the same, and it was closed after 4 posts.

i'm gonna have to go ahead and say that what he posted in ()'s was not wrong if he was talking about the finale of the incident, which he may have very well have been referring to. but i do agree that we're on dangerous ground here, so i'm not gonna speak of it anymore.
