Sawako is WIN.

Though I'm wondering how on earth did those students (who took photo with Sawako in the end) knew about her rock performance in the wedding? I don't think they attended it, since it's not like the bride/groom invited them.

Someone mentioned that the newspaper or another was going to cover the event. Them being alumni of the school and all, it's rather significant...?

I'll say one thing: the guy who rejected her definitely didn't deserve her.

I'd definitely hit her.

I am almost prepared to see Lord of Fire being ridden onto stage in chains and choked by Sawako... that or being dressed up HTT style instead.

Come to think of it, these may be major obstacles for guys that have known Sawako to approach her.

With her old glasses she looked sort of mousey, but on stage she seems too wild (and maybe crazy), which might have been too much for the guy to handle. How do you satisfy a Death Metal Goddess?

This is probably the funniest episode ever. Bloody hilarious!

Death Metal lol. And Sawako forgot all about herself.

Uh.

To be fair, the metal they play is not death metal. More trash metal.

You don't have to, it's still music anyway.

And yeah, Sawako is definitely my favorite character now without question. Leaps and bounds better then the cosplaying stand in she was in the first season.

Because everytime Sawako goes to meet someone she gets stalked by a certain Light Music Club and her date gets creeped out and runs away.

Or she joined team Mugi...

BTW, did anyone manage to pin down which model of B.C. Rich guitar Christina is using? My current guess is the Warlock NJ Deluxe. The bassist should be using a B.C Rich Heritage Classic Mockingbird if I got this one right~!

Oh, man, that solo by "Catherine" was gorgeous! Not just the sound, but they animated all the finger movements too! After watching BECK recently, I really wish they'd do more stuff like that. Sure, BECK's animation was terrible until someone picked up a guitar, because it was probably using half the budget, but it sold the musical aspect of the show so much more. In my wettest dreams, KyoAni go on to make a two-hour K-ON! film, where they play all their songs, with every chord, every solo and every drum fill rendered in masturbatory detail...

I'm truly loving the slice-of-life aspects this year, though. The girls really do come across as best friends, not just character archetypes. Little moments, like Azusa getting lost in the moment, and Yui and Ritsu nudging each other about it, really work.

To intrude upon kitten320 and Master Chibi's conversation, while I'm not a fan of the really extreme metal myself, I'd disagree that there's no talent involved. I thought that way myself until about a year ago, and then I got into a Canadian musician named Devin Townsend. He sings in every style, from whistles to whispers to clean vocals to rage-filled roars, sometimes within seconds of each other, and they all serve to get across the emotion of the song. 99% of songs are about love, or sex, or sadness... but that doesn't mean rage isn't a valid emotion that can be represented in music, too. And hell, you try screaming like that without your throat falling out of your mouth! I sure can't.

Good for you.

I don't even listen to 'death metal' but I'm not going to divulge myself into the matter.

Well I don't plan to discuss it too. I actually like all music but when it is constant screaming, it just feels off... When it does like for example in Linkin Park or Dead by April songs, then it sounds fine^^
