A little hard to see but it looked awesome! ZUN's name popped-up, does that mean it's official?

That's also unfortunately what we have seen with Alice and Hong Meiling to name two other characters completely derailed in fanon interpretations

But that's said, whatever the reason is, I respect the man for what he did, is doing and will do, and for what his decision is. People have different way of thinking, and Touhou is his child, so he's just doing what he thinks is the best for the franchise.
And yet a lot of people, especially those at Sankaku, have been quick at portraying him as a control freak when he put his foot down about the Maikaze doujin ova. Myself I sympathize with ZUN's sentiments.

Seems to give me flashbacks on the Transformers live action movies.

Everything is a normal day until TOuhou heroines appear out of nowhere, cause havoc. Main character will probably side with Reimu/Marisa to help seal them back to Gensokyo.

Might just be crediting the guy as the original creator of the Touhou franchise.

Mind is... blown. I didn't even hear about this until today. I am still in disbelief that this is being made at all even if its not official part of Touhou.

Or maybe they're all just after Legendary Girl A-

*Master Sparked*

In any case, it's just a camrip and yet the animation quality I see already makes me drool

Flandre is causing havoc in Tokyo. I am interested.
Too bad there is no sight of Remilia.

And btw, after this if I hear something like:

So I've been hearing things about this "Touhou Project" anime.
Apparently it's pretty popular already and has a few games based on it.
I'm going to kill a kitten. Please think of the kitten, people. I know you are all good guys :3.

@Duo That's partly why Zun won't allow an official anime, because hordes of comments like that would pop up.

Yes, because Touhou is completely unknown by now and most of the people into anime and such never heard of it before and are only going to take notice of it because ufotable is now producing some short animation with its characters.

Well, no. Everyone knows Touhou nowadays. It won't change a thing. It's not like when EoSD was released, when few people in the west even cared about the games enough.

As for the trailer itself, looking great. I just hope we actually GET to watch this. Weren't they going to air it at some con or whatever? It doesn't seem like it's the sort of stuff that's guaranteed to get a DVD release.
