^He is just really good at reading people, that's a skill anyone can learn.
This is a good manga, if there is one thing that I dislike it's that the people in their world put Komi-san on too high a pedestal and it gets annoying to see them praise her for literally just existing.

Well contrast between her real personality and perception of her other has is basically whole premise of this manga. It's like gender flipped "face of thug" type of story. It couldn't really work if if it wasn't tad extreme.

New Gyaru character is fun, especially her crazy makeup
After the vomit chapter, Gyaru thinks the class is alienating her because of her sudden crying the other day. She suspects Tadano blabbed about the vomitting to the class, but he is super nice as usual. She asks Komi if the others are really alienating her, Komi turns to Tadano for help. Tadano says it's probably her makeup, that she's cuter without it. Komi nods in agreement. Gyaru gets tsun (shy) because no guy has called her cute. |

I'm all for the gyaru without make up, I feel bad for the ship tought since some gyaru girls are great girls but never win like the childhood friend.
but it was about time for some rival for komi to make her go and be more bold to tadano, delinquent guy can't be the only rival for komi. |

I love this manga and like the latest character additions a lot. The Komi/Tadano pair is pretty much a lock, IMO, so no to the rival idea. To only misstep for the story was the kidnapping part. The crazy girl just seemed a bit too out of place for what is fundamentally a quiet story of the power of friendship™.
