What a hard question, because depending of the country, right and left differs a lot. Most european right party could be considered as socialist from an north american view.

The two above more or less resumed everything, I personally use Social Darwinism to explain the right side policy but social hierarchy is indeed better.

But even then, it flucutuates a lot between countries, for example nationalism, which mostly belongs to right side parties is very different from Japan to France.

Another way to put things:

Right wing: Gradual change
Left Wing: Radical("revolutionary") change.

Though what others have put above is also correct. Left and Right mean many things.

(I've been trying to look for the "Anime Masterpieces" thread/long wall post that Animesuki once created which arranged the "Masterpieces, Great, Good" but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where it is posted?)

Something like a list of anime:
Cowboy Bebop (M)

And no, not the current thread created now in response to the crunchyroll article.

Question: Recently the weather's getting hot, and i has uncontrollably been dozing off inside AC room at around 1-5pm mark. I means i even fell as sleep for 10 seconds and dreamed silly things for that 10 seconds several times in span of few minutes.

Then i remember the same thing happened to me back in high-school under similar situation.

Is it something normal? Or it's just a coincidence, as maybe the weather just happened to be hotter now when I am still adjusting my biological clock after having that nighter during New year Eve?

There are times when sleep can occur in the say.

In particular, I found myself dozing off during lectures in college, whereby I was in a warm, dark room only lit up by a projector, and the dull droning of the old guy speaking at us. In such situations it was very easy for my eyes to droop. Often I would have an experience similar to what you're describing.

Your experience only proves one thing, we are all alike.

Have plenty of normal sleep at the normal hours.

So, you're having dreams during very short periods of sleep? If my education has done me proper, it sounds like you went without sleep for a bit and you're a little backlogged on your REM state. As far as your uncontrollable urge to sleep, I'm going to take a flying leap here and guess that it's because you're in a comfortable environment after having been exposed to a less comfortable environment.

Any big psych studiers out there? How am I doing?

Does anyone know the processes and what exactly crisis management teams in the financial industry do?

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Thank for the responses guys. It stopped happened since the last time i posted, but the weather has been getting cooler so maybe it played a small part. But yeah it was after I returned from the lab, so maybe it supposed to be more comfortable dozing off inside a normal classroom than a biological hazardous laboratory

Normally i only fell asleep on bus.

Btw, got a serious question here that need helps.
My friend signed an internet contract (Virgin if anyone want to know), but then cancelled it within cool-down period because he needed to move to a new place. Somehow Virgin did not cancel his contract, and kept stacking up his bills despite he's no longer there. Recently he got notice from a debt collecting company to his new address (he then has been contacting Virgin to solve the issues).

The problem is, that debt collecting firm not supposed to have his new address (they lied that they got it from the contract, but the contract was in the old address). So we are suspecting they somehow kept a record of his name and address in their database (maybe from a different service company e.g. water and energy) and just uses it as they fit. In that case, I don't believe it's legal to keep private information of people as a third party without permissions.

So my question is, is there a specific law to protect private information in that cases (e.g. Privacy Act? ) ? Something which we can use to deter the debt collector from keeping his information for future harassment?

I'm making the assumption you're referring to Virgin Mobile Australia, and your friend was using their mobile broadband service?

It would be a good idea to have a look at these PDF brochures by the ACCC and the ASIC:For the first document ("Debt collection guideline reprint 2010.pdf"), it might be worthwhile to look at page 17.
For the second document, I'd focus on page 13 onwards.

Of course, the debt collecting company is allowed to collect personal information to settle debts (and they are also obligated to keep the information they have secure and up-to-date), but whether or not you could initiate a litigation probably depends on how and where they collected this information (you may be able to pin on them the fact that they lied in regards to the address issue on the contract). It would be good to look at the National Privacy Principles.

For the record, my knowledge about these kinds of issues is limited to what is available out there on the Internet, and it would be a good idea to get a second opinion from a professional in law. Your first port of call would be Virgin, and if you don't get a satisfactory response, then it would be best to escalate the issue and bring to the attention of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.

For sure, I can tell you that it's for SIM cards to connect to 3G and 4G networks. Whether a simple phone SIM card will work or not I honestly can't tell you. There may be SIM cards for tablets and netbooks offered by 3G and 4G providers that you can get?

I suppose it's possible that those wireless hotspot/modem things you can buy from providers like Verizon would come with a SIM if they run 4G.

I had the same suspicion but its seems to fit a sim bigger than a phone sim....

SIM cards come in many sizes. They're actually pretty amazing little devices in terms of their ability to store information as well. It saddens me that I didn't get a lot of exposure to SIM cards back when I would occasionally sell phones for WalMart (I used to work in electronics there), but I did have a Verizon rep tell me a bit about them and how AT&T's SIM cards are supposed to be pretty advanced. You more phone savvy people can correct me if I'm wrong, but my basic understanding is that SIM cards on top of carrying data provide authentication and information required for connecting to, in this case, 3G and 4G networks of service providers. So plugging in a SIM card made for the purpose of allowing your device to connect to those networks would allow it to do so. Hopefully I'm not off base and that it also makes sense.

I've actually never heard of a laptop carrying a SIM card before until this question popped up, but it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I learned some very interesting stuff today about newer laptop technology! Thanks for that.

While the port is disabled on your particular computer that sort of port isn't really uncommon on netbooks. It's meant to plug in a sim card for a 3G modem.

For those curious SIM cards are actually rather common outside of the US and are used to authenticate a user to the network. It allows you to detach the hardware (cellphone/modem) from the service provider (the telcos) giving you the hability to purchase the phone of your choice without having to consult with your network provider. In practice though most people buy phones locked to their providers rendering the ability rather moot.
